Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang bahan ajar elektronik materi gunung berapi (BAE MAGUPI) berorientasi kecerdasan majemuk dan nilai-nilai karakter peserta didik SMP. Teknologi berpengaruh sangat besar dalam perkembangan pendidikan dan potensi kecerdasan peserta didik, tetapi nilai-nilai karakter diperlukan sebagai tuntutan kurikulum. BAE MAGUPI mewadahi dimensi kecerdasan majemuk dan nilai-nilai karakter. Pendekatan penelitian DBR (Design-Based Research) dan model IDIR, yaitu identification, development, iteration dan reflection. Instrumen wawancara, angket identifikasi kecerdasan majemuk dan nilai-nilai karakter, ketertarikan bahan bacaan IPBA, soal rumpang, respon peserta didik, penilaian keterbacaan bahan ajar standar Puskurbuk dan penilaian kesesuaian materi terhadap dimensi kecerdasan majemuk dan nilai-nilai karakter. Ketertarikan peserta didik pada bahan bacaan IPBA yaitu 88,57% namun ketersediaan bahan bacaan hanya 37,14%. Potensi kecerdasan peserta didik beragam dan nilai-nilai karakter diperlukan dalam pembelajaran. Soal rumpang dan angket respon peserta didik digunakan untuk mengetahui pemahaman dan tanggapan peserta didik terhadap bahan ajar. Hasil validasi keterbacaan dan kesesuaian materi BAE MAGUPI terkualifikasi sangat baik dan layak digunakan dengan kesesuaian materi mencapai 83,41% untuk kecerdasan majemuk dan 87,99% untuk nilai-nilai karakter. Technology has a great influence on the development of education and the intelligence potential of students, but character values are needed as curriculum demands. BAE MAGUPI accommodates dimentions of multiple intelligences and character values. The DBR (Design-Based Research) research approach and the IDIR model, namely identification, development, iteration and reflection. Interview instruments, questionnaire identification of multiple intelligences and character values, interest in reading materials of IPBA, problems of gaps, students' responses, assessment of readability of Puskurbuk's standard teaching materials and assessment of material suitability for the dimensions of multiple intelligences and character values. The students' interest in IPBA reading material is 88.57% but the availability of reading material is only 37.14%. The students' intelligence potential varies and character values are needed in learning. Interview questions and student questionnaire responses are used to determine students' understanding and responses to teaching materials. The results of the legibility and suitability validation of BAE MAGUPI material are very well qualified and suitable for use with the material suitability reaching 83,41% for multiple intelligences and 87,99% for character values.
