Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kemampuan fisik-motorik dengan kesiapan sekolah anak di Kecamatan Cibeunying Kidul Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasional. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 280 orang anak. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini, yaitu melalui angket yang berisi kemampuan fisik-motorik dan kesiapan sekolah anak di taman kanak-kanak. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis validasi, reliabilitas, analisis kolerasi dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan 74,6% kemampuan fisik-motorik anak dalam keadaan baik, 25% dalam katagori cukup dan sebanyak 0,4% masuk kedalam katagori kurang. Sedangkan untuk kesiapan sekolah 75,7% dalam katagori baik, 24,3% dan tidak ada yang masuk dalam katagori kurang. Untuk kolerasi antara fisik-motorik dengan kesiapan sekolah mendapatkan nilai kolerasi sebesar 0,503 dengan nilai sig 0,00 sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara fisik-motorik dengan kesiapan sekolah pada anak di taman kanak-kanak di Kecamatan cibeunying Kidul Kota Bandung. Rekomendasi untuk guru diharapkan lebih memperhatiakan perkembangan fisik-motorik dan kesiapan sekolah anak.;---This study aims to determine the relationship between physical-motor skills and the readiness of school children in Cibeunying Kidul District, Bandung City. This study uses a correlational method. The research subjects were 280 children. Data collection techniques in this study, namely through a questionnaire that contains the physical-motor skills and school readiness of children in kindergarten. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of validation, reliability, correlation analysis and conclusion. The results showed 74.6% of the physical-motor abilities of children in good condition, 25% in the category sufficient and as much as 0.4% entered into the category less. While for school readiness 75.7% in the good category, 24.3% and none in the category of less. The correlation between physical-motoric and school readiness has a correlation value of 0.503 with a sig value of 0.00 so that it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between physical-motoric and school readiness in children in kindergarten in Cibeunying Kidul District, Bandung City. Recommendatons for teachers expected more attention to the ability of physical-motor skills and the readiness of school children.
