Abstract

Keterampilan berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu keterampilan untuk melatih kemampuan pengetahuan siswa dalam berpikir. Hasil studi pendahuluan berupa wawancara menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis di tingkat SMP masih kurang, hal tersebut ditinjau berdasarkan pengukuran analisis tes sebelumnya terkait dengan tes yang digunakan dalam mengukur keterampilan berpikir kritis. Meskipun dilakukan pengukuran analisis, alat analisis tes yang digunakan adalah analisis klasik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik tes keterampilan berpikir kritis berdasarkan analisis teori respon butir.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu metode campuran dengan desain eksploratori sekuensial. Uji coba tes dilakukan kepada 115 siswa di 3 sekolah menengah pertama (SMP) di kota Bandung yang kemudian hasilnya dianalisis menggunakan teori respon butir dengan bantuan software eirt versi 2.0.0. Hasil analisis menujukkan bahwa model 3 paramater logistic merupakan model yang sesuai untuk mengkarakteristik tes keterampilan berpiki rkritis. Karakteristik tes keterampilan berpikir kritis memiliki daya pembeda (a) sebesar 0,96, tingkat kesukaran (b) sebesar -0,317, tebakan semu (c) sebesar 0,2 dalam kategori baik, dan memiliki nilai fungsi informasi sebesar 8,11 dengan kesalahan penaksiran standar (SEM) sebesar 0,35. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tes keterampilan berpikir kritis ini akan reliable jika diberikan kepada siswa dengan kemampuan rendah sampai dengan kemampuan tinggi. Purwanto, M.A ABSTRACT Critical thinking skills are one of the skills to practice students' knowledge abilities in thinking.The results of a preliminary study in the form of interviews indicate that critical thinking skills at the junior high level are still lacking, it is reviewed based on the measurement analysis of previous tests related to the tests used in measuring critical thinking skills. Although analytical measurements were taken, the test analysis tool used was classical analysis. This study aims to determine the characteristics of critical thinking skills tests based on the analysis of item response theory. The method used in this research is a mixed method with a sequential exploratory design.Trial tests were conducted on 115 students in 3 junior high schools in Bandung and the results were analyzed using item response theory with the help of eirt software version 2.0.0.The results of the analysis show that the model 3 logistic parameters is an appropriate model to characterize the critical thinking skills test. The characteristics of critical thinking skills tests have the discriminating power (a) of 0.96, the level of difficulty (b) of 0.317, an have guessing (c) of 0.2 in the good category, and have an information function value of 8.11 with an error of estimation standard (SEM) of 0.35.It can be concluded that this critical thinking skills test will be reliable if given to boththe students with low ability and high ability.
