    Abstract

    Zona Busur Banda merupakan salah satu wilayah yang tingkat
    seismisitasnya sangat tinggi serta rawan terhadap bencana gempabumi
    karena adanya penunjaman lempeng Indo-Australia terhadap lempeng
    Eurasia di sepanjang pelengkungan Busur Banda, tercatat selama 8
    tahun terakhir ini sudah terjadi gempabumi sebanyak 4518 kali. Data
    katalog yang presisi sangat dibutuhkan sebagai data referensi untuk studi
    tektonik dan studi kegempaan. Karena informasi mengenai hiposenter
    yang akurat sangat penting, maka untuk menghasilkan hiposenter yang
    lebih akurat dilakukan relokasi hiposenter gempabumi dengan
    menggunakan metode Double Difference (DD). Metode Double
    Difference (DD) adalah suatu metode relokasi hiposenter yang
    menggunakan data arrival time gelombang P dan S. Pada dasarnya
    prinsip dari metode ini adalah mengasumsikan jika jarak persebaran
    hiposenter antara dua gempabumi sangat kecil dibandingkan dengan
    jarak antara stasiun dengan sumber gempabumi, maka raypath kedua
    gempabumi tersebut dapat dianggap sama. 1210 event gempabumi
    berhasil direlokasi dengan nilai resudual waktu tempuh yang mendekati
    nol. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa relokasi hiposenter menggunakan
    metode Double Difference dengan bantuan program hypoDD relatif
    akurat untuk digunakan merelokasi gempabumi Zona Busur Banda pada
    tahun 2010-2017, serta membuktikan bahwa wilayah Busur Banda
    membentuk seperti sendok terbuka berdasarkan hasil geometri slab-nya.

    ;---The Banda Arc is a territory with a very high level of seismicity
    and vulnerable to earthquake, because of the collision of Indo-Australia
    plate against the Eurasian plate along the curvature of the Banda Arc. It
    is recorded that 4518 earthquakes has occoured in the past 8 years. A
    precise catalog data is urgently needed as a reference data for tectonics
    and seismicity studies. For the need of accurate information of
    hypocenter, earthquake hypocenter relocation using the Double-
    Difference (DD) method was done to obtain more precise information of
    hypocenter. Double-Difference (DD) is a hypocenter relocation method
    using arrival time data of P and S waves. This method assumes that if
    the distance of hypocenter distribution between two earthquakes is very
    small compared to the distance between stations and earthquake source,
    then the raypath of those earthquakes can be considered the same. 1210
    earthquakes are successfully relocated with the residual value of travel
    time approaching zero. These results indicate that the relocation of
    hypocenter using Double Difference method with the help of hypoDD
    program is relatively accurate for relocating earthquake on Banda Arc
    Zone in 2010-2017, as well as proving that the area of Banda Arc
    formed as an opened spoon based on its slab geometry. The residual
    value of travel time approaching zero are expected to provide more
    precise information of hypocenter position to government agencies and
    society as disaster mitigation in earthquake vulnerability mapping in
    order to minimize the damage of earthquake.
