Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya self-determination pada jenjang SMK, mengingat kebutuhan dan tuntutan belajar siswa yang semakin kompleks dengan diharuskannya siswa memilih bidang keahlian dan menghadapi kegiatan disekolah yang sangat padat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kategori self-determination peserta didik dan memeroleh program bimbingan belajar untuk meningkatkan self-determination peserta didik kelas XI SMKN 1 Lemahsugih Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode desktiptif. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 150 responden dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan cluster random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket tertutup dengan menggunakan skala likert, pengumpulan data menggunakan angket pengungkap self-determination. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kategori self-determination sebagian besar siswa kelas XI SMKN 1 lemahsugih berada pada kategori identified regulation atau sedang. Rumusan program bimbingan belajar dapat digunakan oleh guru bimbingan dan konseling sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan self-determination melalui layanan-layanan yang telah disusun.;---This research is motivated by the importance of self-determination on the level of vocational, considering the needs and demands of an increasingly complex student learning by diharuskannya students select areas of expertise and the face of a very solid school activities. This study aims to determine the category of self-determination of learners and obtain academic guidance program that hypothetically effective to improve the self-determination of students of class XI SMK 1 Lemahsugih Academic Year 2017/2018. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The research sample of 150 respondents using probability sampling technique of sampling. The instruments used in the form of closed questionnaire using a Likert scale, data collection using questionnaires revealer of self-determination. The results showed that the category of self-determination of the majority of class XI student of SMK 1 lemahsugih in the category identified regulation or medium. The formulation of an academic guidance program can be used by guidance and counseling teachers as an effort to increase sel-determination through the services that have been prepared.
