Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan multimedia pembelajaran berbasis game dengan model learning cycle 7E untuk mata pelajaran sistem komputer pada materi gerbang logika. Dalam pembuatan multimedia dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya pengetahuan konsep dalam memahami materi pada materi gerbang logika. Tujuan membuat multimedia pembelajaran yang dikembangkan untuk: 1) Menghasilkan multimedia educational game untuk materi gerbang logika, 2) Mendapatkan hasil peningkatan pemahaman kognitif siswa terhadap multimedia dengan model learning cycle 7E berbasis educational game. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode pengembangan multimedia model Siklus Hidup Menyeluruh (SHM). Pada tahap pengembangan multimedia diuji cobakan sebanyak dua kali kepada kelas yang telah mempelajari materi gerbang logika. Selanjutnya diimplementasikan kepada 2 kelas yang belum mempelajari materi tersebut yaitu kelas X TKI 4 (kelas kontrol) dan X TKI 6 (kelas eksperimen). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa tes, angket penilaian ahli, angket penilaian siswa terhadap multimedia dan lembar observasi. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan hasil: 1) Tahap-tahap dalam pengembangan multimedia memiliki tahap yang sama seperti pada umumnya namun diterapkan model learning cycle 7E kedalam multimedia dan hasil penilaian ahli media sebesar 88%, penilaian ahli materi sebesar 85%, serta penilaian siswa terhadap multimedia sebesar 89.71% 2) Multimedia educational game dengan menggunakan model learning cycle 7E dinyatakan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif dengan dilakukan uji gain antara 2 kelas yang mana hasil gain kelas eksperimen didapat 0,57 dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol 0,08. ;---This study aims to produce game-based learning multimedia with the 7E learning cycle model for computer system subjects on logic gate material. In the making of multimedia in the background by the lack of concept knowledge in understanding the material in the logic gate material. The purpose of making multimedia learning was developed to: 1) Produce educational multimedia games for logic gate material, 2) Obtain results of students' cognitive understanding of multimedia with educational game-based 7E learning cycle models. The research method used is a method of multimedia development of the Comprehensive Life Cycle (SHM) model. During the multimedia development phase, it was tested twice to the class who had studied the logic gate material. Furthermore, it was implemented to 2 classes that had not studied the material, namely class X TKI 4 (control class) and X TKI 6 (experimental class). The research instrument used in the form of tests, expert assessment questionnaires, student assessment questionnaires on multimedia and observation sheets. From this study, the following results were obtained: 1) The stages in multimedia development have the same stage as in general, but the 7E learning cycle model is applied into multimedia and the results of media expert evaluation is 88%, material expert judgment is 85%, and students' assessment of multimedia amounting to 89.71% 2) Educational game multimedia using the 7E learning cycle model was declared to improve cognitive abilities by taking a gain test between two classes in which the experimental class gain was 0.57 compared to 0.08 control class.
