Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurangnya motivasi pemelajar BIPA dalam keterampilan menulis berbasis keindonesiaan. Oleh karena itu, pemahaman pemelajar BIPA tentang keindonesiaan sangat dibutuhkan. Melalui penerapan strategi scaffolding ini diharapkan kemampuan menulis pemelajar BIPA menjadi semakin meningkat, tidak hanya itu pemelajar BIPA juga diharapkan kaya dalam wawasan budaya Indonesia. Hal ini juga mampu dalam meminimalisasi terjadinya gegar budaya (shock culture). Metode penelitian yang digunakanan adalah metode subjek tunggal dengan desain A-B-A. Baseline (A1), dilaksanakan empat sesi, intervensi (B) dilaksanakan delapan sesi, dan baseline kedua dilaksanakan empat sesi (A2). Penggunaan metode eksperimen subjek tunggal ini digunakan untuk menguji langsung pengaruh strategy scaffolding berbasis wawasan nusantara terhadap kemampuan menulis pemelajar BIPA tingkat menengah. Eksperimen subjek tunggal ini dipilih karena sesuai dengan hakikat penelitian yang akan dilakukan ,yaitu untuk melihat perilaku (target behavior) dan perbedaan secara individu dari subjek yang diteliti. ;---This research was motivated by the lack of BIPA learning motivation in Indonesian-based writing skills. Therefore, BIPA's understanding of Indonesianness is very much needed. Through the application of this scaffolding strategy, it is expected that the writing ability of BIPA learners will increase, not only that BIPA learners are also expected to be rich in insight into Indonesian culture. It is also capable of minimizing the occurrence of culture shock. The research method used is a single subject method with A-B-A design. Baseline (A1), carried out in four sessions, intervention (B) was carried out eight sessions, and the second baseline was carried out in four sessions (A2). The use of this single subject experimental method is used to directly test the influence of scaffolding strategy based on archipelago insight on the writing ability of middle level BIPA learners. This single subject experiment was chosen because it was in accordance with the nature of the research to be conducted, namely to see the behavior (target behavior) and individual differences of the subject under study.
