Abstract

Kompetensi guru PAUD dalam menerapkan Project Based Learning dilapangan secara aktual dalam penelitian belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi Project Based Learning guru PAUD melalui Lesson Study. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian tindakan (action research). Penelitian ini dilakukan di TK Kartika SECAPA-AD XVI-I Hegarmanah Kota Bandung dengan subjek penelitian adalah empat orang guru kelompok B. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi dengan instrumen pengumpulan data berupa pedoman observasi, pedoman wawancara dan pedoman studi dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan teknik analisis tematik. Secara umum hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Kegiatan Lesson Study dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru PAUD dalam Project Based Learning. Hasil penelitian dijabarkan sebagai berikut: 1) Kemampuan guru PAUD dalam merancang dan melaksanakan pembelajaran belum optimal; 2) Rancangan Lesson Study meliputi komponen tujuan, materi, strategi kegiatan, dan evaluasi program; 3) Penerapan kegiatan Lesson Study sudah sesuai dengan rancangan kegiatan yang meliputi langkah Plan, Do dan See; 4) Kemampuan guru dalam merencanakan dan melaksanaakan Project Based Learning melalui Lesson Study mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya; 5) Kendala yang dialami guru PAUD dalam Project Based Learning meliputi kendala dalam memilih materi, menyampaikan materi, mengubah pola pembelajaran dari teacher center ke student center dan manajemen waktu; 6) Solusi yang dilakukan guru PAUD untuk mengatasi kendala yang dihadapi diantaranya, mempersiapkan materi secara lebih matang, menguatkan komitmen, meningkatkan kolaborasi antar guru. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru PAUD dalam penerapan Project Based Learning melalui Lesson Study. Posisi research berada di urutan ke tiga di Indonesia. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian maka direkomendasikan bahwa Project Based Learning melalui Lesson Studi oleh guru PAUD perlu dilakukan secara berkala. ;--- The competence of PAUD teachers in implementing Project Based Learning in the field is actually in research not optimal. This study aims to increase capability of early childhood teachres to use Project Based Learining (PjBL) via Lesson Study. The study conducted at TK Kartika SECAPA-AD XVI-I Hegarmanah, Bandung. Data collected from four active teachers by using four type of instruments, which are, observation guidelines, interview guidelines and documentation study guidelines. While analysis was done by qualitative approach with action research method and thematic analysis technique. In general, the resuls showed that Lesson Study activity can increase capability of early childhood teachers to use Prohect Based Learning. Some satisfation result in particular are: 1) The design includes a component Lesson Study objectivies, materials, strategies activities and program evaluation; 2) Lesson Study design includes the components of objectives, materials, activity strategies, and program evaluation; 3) The implementation of Lesson Study activities already appropriate with the design of activities which include the steps of Plan, Do and See; 4) The teacher capability to plan and implementation PjBL are constanly improve in every cycle. However, there’s some dissatisfaction following pra-action stage, namely, the ability in designing and implementing project based learning is not optimal yet ; 5) Those ability can be described as follows: Choosing Material, 2) Deliver Material, 3) Conversion from teacher centered to student centered methode, and 4) time management; 6) To overcome this problems, the teachers undertake following action; 1) preparing material more carefully, 2)strengthen commitment, and 3)incerease with colleague. The implications of the results of this study can improve the ability of teachers to implement Project Based Learning through Lesson Study. Research position ranks third in Indonesia. Bades on those findings, it is recomended that early childhood teacher need to use Project Based Learning via Lesson Study in learning and teaching activities with more intensity and must be done periodically.
