Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran motivasi dan prestasi belajar pada mata pelajaran Basic Aircraft Technology Knowledge (BATK), dan pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran BATK di SMKN 12 Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket yang bersifat tertutup dengan skala lima. Sedangkan sumber data yang disajikan berupa sampel penelitian yang berjumlah 48. Teknik pengolahan data dilakukan dengan prosedur: menyeleksi data, mentabulasi data, mengukur kecenderungan skor responden menggunakan formulasi Weight Means Scored (WMS), dan uji normalitas distribusi data. Selanjutnya melakukan pengujian hipotesis penelitian dengan prosedur: uji analisis korelasi, uji tingkat signifikansi, uji koefisien determinasi dan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gambaran umum motivasi belajar di lihat secara keseluruhan mendapat skor rata-rata sebesar 3,45 dengan kategori baik, dan hasil kecenderungan prestasi belajar menunjukkan bahwa dari 48 responden terdapat 32 responden yang memperoleh nilai di atas nilai KKM atau sekitar 66,7% dari seluruh responden, setelah dilakukan perhitungan dengan menguji koefisien determinasi bahwa Prestasi belajar pada mata pelajaran Basic Aircraft Technology Knowledge (BATK) di SMKN 12 Bandung dipengaruhi sebesar 26,3 %. Dengan kata lain, Ha diterima yaitu terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran BATK di SMKN 12 Bandung.;---The purpose of this research is to know the description of motivation and learning achievement on the subject of Basic Aircraft Technology Knowledge (BATK), and to measure the influence of learning motivation towards students’ learning achievement in the subject of BATK at SMKN 12 Bandung. This research employs descriptive method with qualitative approach. The technique used for data collection is through closed questionnaire with five scale whereas the data source is presented in the form of research samples numbering 48 in total. Data processing techniques involved several steps: data selection, data tabulation, measurement of the respondents’ tendency scores by using Weight Means Scored (WMS) formulation, and normality test of data distribution. After that, research hypothesis was tested under following procedures: correlation analysis test, significance level test, determinants’ coefficient test, and regression analysis. The findings of this research showed that the tendency of the whole approximate scores from each of the indicator for Learning Motivation was about 3.45 with good category. Meanwhile, the tendency result for Learning achievement suggested that of all 48 respondents, about 32 of them (66.7%) obtained higher scores compared to the KKM score, after conducting the counting through determinants’ coefficient test, it was shown that learning achievement on the subject of BATK at SMKN 12 Bandung was 26.3%. In other words, Ha was accepted which meant that there was a significance influence of learning motivation towards students’ learning achievement on the subject of BATK at SMKN 12 Bandung.
