Abstract
Penelitian ini memiliki fokus masalah mengenai manfaat yang diberikan koleksi perpustakaan dalam bentuk material sebagai investasi (return on investment/ROI) jangka panjang perusahaan, terutama dalam pengembangan sumber daya manusia. Hal tersebut dipengaruhi oleh kesesuaian penyelenggaraan perpustakaan dengan Standar Nasional Perpustakaan Khusus yang tercantum dalam Keputusan Kepala Perpustakaan Republik Indonesia Nomor 14 Tahun 2017. Penelian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisis ROI koleksi perpustakaan PT Pos Indonesia Bandung dalam mengembangkan kemampuan pemustaka dalam bekerja, yang dilihat penyelenggaraan perpustakaan, proses pemanfaatan informasi dalam pengembangan sumber daya manusia, dan metodologi ROI. Pendekatan yang dilakukan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah informan kunci, kepala perpustakaan, tenaga perpustakaan, pemustaka, dan wakil presiden perencanaan sumber daya manusia. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknis analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, display dan simpulan/verifikasi. Deskripsi hasil penelitian dari analisis ROI koleksi perpustakaan dalam pengembangan sumber daya manusia menunjukan bahwa penyelenggaraan perpustakaan PT Pos Indonesia bandung mendekati Standar Nasional Perpustakaan Khusus, di mana koleksi perpustakaannya memberikan nilai manfaat material bagi pemustaka dalam mengembangkan kemampuan bekerja. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan terlaksananya penyelenggaraan perpustakaan, terlaksananya kegiatan sirkulasi koleksi yang relevan dengan bidang kerja pemustaka, dan adanya metode untuk menentukan ROI koleksi perpustakaan dalam pengembangan sumber daya manusia. This is influenced by the suitability of the operation of the library with the National Library Special Standards listed in the Decree of the Head of the Library of the Republic of Indonesia Number 14 of 2017. This study aims to find out the ROI analysis of the library collections of PT Pos Indonesia Bandung in developing library users' ability to work, as seen by the organization of the library, the process of utilizing information in human resource development, and the ROI methodology. The approach taken is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Informants in this study were key informants, head of the library, library staff, library users, and vice president of human resource planning. The process of collecting data is done through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. While the technical analysis of the data used is data reduction, display and conclusion / verification. The description of the results of research from the ROI analysis of library collections in the development of human resources shows that the holding of the library of PT Pos Indonesia Bandung approaches the National Library Special Standards, where the library collections provide material benefits for users in developing work ability. This is evidenced by the implementation of the implementation of the library, the implementation of collection circulation activities that are relevant to the field of library users, and the existence of methods to determine the ROI of library collections in the development of human resources.
