Abstract

Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) merupakan sebuah Lembaga pemerintahan yang memiliki tugas utama yaitu menyediakan data bagi masyarakat dan pemerintah. Data yang diperoleh oleh BPS yaitu dengan cara sensus dan survei. Banyak hal yang mempengaruhi kualitas data yang akan dihasilkan salah satunya adalah petugas yang melaksanakan kegiatan tersebut. Karena kegiatan tersebut hampir dilakukan di seluruh Indonesia, khususnya kegiatan survei yang lebih sering dilakukan dibandingkan dengan kegiatan sensus dan jumlah staff resmi BPS yang tidak sebanding dengan jumlah kegiatan tersebut sehingga diperlukan petugas tambahan diluar staff resmi BPS. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian ini akan dibuat sebuah sistem pendukung keputusan yang akan menyeleksi calon petugas survei agar didapat petugas yang berkompeten serta dapat melaksanakan tugas segara professional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) karena kemampuannya dalam melakukan penilaian secara lebih tepat karena berdasar pada nilai atribut dan bobot preferensi yang sudah ditetapkan serta metode Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) karena dapat menghasilkan solusi terbaik yang mempertimbangkan jarak terhadap solusi ideal positif dan negatif. Hasil dari sistem ini memiliki penilaian terhadap kesesuaian perangkingan sebesar 80% dan 77% dapat diterima dengan baik oleh BPS kab.Bandung. ------- Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) is a government institution which has the main task for providing data for the residents and government. Data obtained by BPS is by way of censuses and surveys. Many things that affect the quality of the data that will be produced, one of which is the officer who carried out the activity. Because these activities are almost carried out throughout Indonesia, especially survey activities which are more often carried out compared to census activities and the number of official BPS staff who are not comparable to the number of activities, additional personnel are needed outside BPS official staff. Therefore, in this study a decision support system will be created that will select prospective survey officers so that competent officers can be obtained and can carry out immediate professional duties. This study uses the method of Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) because of its ability to assess more precisely because it is based on the attribute values and weight of preferences that have been set and the Technique for Order Preference method by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) because it can produce the best solution that considers distance to positive and negative ideal solutions. The results of this system have an assessment of suitability ranking of 80% and 77% can be well received by BPS kab.Bandung.
