Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKS praktikum berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pada topik sel volta dari umbi-umbian guna meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam berinkuiri. Hal tersebut dilatarbelakangi oleh masih banyaknya LKS praktikum pada topik sel volta yang bersifat cookbook. Sumber data diperoleh dari 15 orang siswa kelas XII sebagai subjek dalam uji keterlaksanaan, serta 3 dosen Pendidikan Kimia dan 2 guru kimia tersertifikasi sebagai validator. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data yang diperlukan diantaranya desain optimasi, lembar validasi guru dan dosen pada aspek kesesuaian indikator keterampilan inkuiri, aspek kesesuaian konsep, aspek tata bahasa, aspek tata letak dan perwajahan LKS, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan, dan LKS yang dikembangkan. LKS praktikum dikembangkan berdasarkan prosedur praktikum yang optimum, indikator keterampilan inkuiri, dan syarat-syarat penulisan LKS yang baik. Hasil validasi guru dan dosen terhadap LKS dari berbagai aspek menunjukkan hasil yang baik dan sesuai dengan indikator yang telah ditentukan. Hasil keterlaksanaan praktikum menggunakan LKS berbasis inkuiri terbimbing yang dikembangkan menunjukkan bahwa LKS praktikum yang dikembangkan mampu membimbing sebagian besar siswa untuk melaksanakan tahapan-tahapan inkuiri dengan baik dan benar. ..... This study aims to develop lab-student worksheet based on guided inquiry on the topic of voltaic cell from tubers to improve students' inquiry skills. The research is motivated by there are many student worksheet that are like cookbook. The data source used 15 students of class XII as a subject in the implementation test, 3 lecturers of Chemistry Education and 2 certified chemistry teachers as validator. Instruments used to obtain the necessary data include optimization design, teacher and lecturer validation sheet on the conformity aspects of inquiry skill indicators, conformity aspects of concepts, grammatical aspects, layout and arrangements aspects of LKS, implementation’ observation sheet, and developed LKS. The lab-student worksheet developed based on optimal laboratiry procedures, indicator of inquiry skills, and the terms of writing a good worksheet. The results of validation of teachers and lecturers on LKS from various aspects showed good results and in accordance with predetermined indicators. The result of practicum implementation using guided inquiry based LKS developed shows that this developed LKS can guide most of the students are able to perform the inquiry stages well and correctly.
