Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas VII F SMPN 40 Bandung dalam pembelajaran PAI. Setelah diidentifikasi, faktor yang dominan adalah tidak efektifnya penggunaan model pembelajaran. Berdasarkan masalah dan identifikasi tersebut maka peneliti memandang sangat penting dilakukan penelitian dengan menerapkan model teams games tournament untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran PAI. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tindakan kelas sebanyak dua siklus tindakan dimana setiap siklus tindakan menempuh empat tahap kegiatan yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Refleksi siklus I menjadi rekomendasi perbaikan siklus II dan refleksi siklus II menjadi rekomendasi penelitian ini, dengan teknik observasi, tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan datanya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa model teams games tournament terbukti mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SMP Negeri 40 Bandung. Diawali dengan menyusun perencanan pembelajaran (RPP) sesuai dengan sintaks model teams games tournament, yang kemudian dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus. Hasil masing-masing siklus menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII F pada pembelajaran PAI, dari pra siklus ke setelah tindakan (siklus I dan siklus II). Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini pula telah menunjukkan ketepatan penerapan model pembelajaran teams games tournamnet untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran PAI meliputi kegiatan guru, aktifitas siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa. This research was backgrounded by low learning outcomes of students in Class VII F 40 Bandung Junior High School in Religion Studies. After being identified, the dominant factor is the ineffective use of learning models. Based on the identified problem, the researcher see that it’s very important to do a research with the application of teams games tournament model to increase student’s learning outcomes in religion studies.The method used in this research was classroom action with two action cycle, in every action cycle consist four step activity that is planning, implementation, montoring and reflection. Reflection cycle 1 become an improvement recommendation for cycle II and reflection cycle II become recommendation of this research, with observation, test, interview and documentation as a data collection techniques. The result of this research shows that teams games tournament is proved to improve students of 40 Junior High School learning outcomes. Started from planning of studies (RPP) based on syntax model teams games tournament, then the implementation in two cycle. The result of each cycle shows increase in students learning outcomes for VII F Class in Religion studies, from pre cycle to post action (cycle I and cycle II). Moreover, the result of this research also shows the accuracy pof applying teams games tournament learning model to increase students learning outcomes in religion studies including teachers activites, student’s activites, and student’s learning outcomes.
