Abstract

Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kreativitas dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Hal ini terlihat dari rendahnya kreativitas mereka dalam berdiskusi untuk memunculkan ide-ide kreatif, penyajian tugas yang dibuat dengan sangat sederhana, dan penyampaian materi yang kurang baik sehingga siswa kesulitan dalam mengembangkan ide kreatifnya. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimana merencanakan pembelajaran sejarah melalui model pembelajaran project based learning, bagaimana guru melaksanakan pembelajaran sejarah melalui model pembelajaran project based learning, bagaimana peningkatan kreativitas belajar siswa setelah diterapkannya model project based learning, juga upaya guru mengatasi kendala dalam penerapan model project based learning untuk kreativitas belajar siswa. Peneliti menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan desain penelitian model Ebbut yang terdiri dari tahap menetapkan ide umum, reconnaisance(pemantauan sebelum tindakan), rencana tindakan, dan pelaksanaan tindakan. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah manusia yaitu peneliti sendiri, pedoman observasi, catatan lapangan, dan pedoman wawancara dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, studi dokumenter, dan wawancara. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan kreativitas belajar siswa di setiap siklusnya setelah diterapkanya model pembelajaran project based learning dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Peningkatan tersebut terjadi pada beberapa indikator tahap merancang proyek yang akan dibuat, originalitas proyek, dan penyampaian proyek. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model project based learning dapat menjadi alternatif untuk meningkatkan kreativitas belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah di kelas X IIK MA Negeri 1 Bandung. The background of this final study was the lack of students’ creativity in history learning. It was seen from their lack of creativity during discussion to obtain creative ideas, delivery of the assignments, and the lesson presentation were not good enough and needed to be elaborated thus made the difficulty to develop their creative ideas. The scope of problems of this final study were how to plan the history learning through the project based learning model, how teachers implement the history learning through project based learning model, the progress improvement of students’ creativity after the implementation of project based learning, and also how teachers overcome the problems in implementation of project based learning for students’ creative learning. The researcher used Classroom Action Research method with Ebbut research model which consisted of defining the general idea, reconnaissance (observation), action planning, and action research. Data collection tools used were the researcher himself, observation guidelines, field notes, and interview guidelines with data collection techniques through observation, documentation study, and interview. The final study was conducted in two cycles. The result showed that there was improvement of students learning creativity in each cycle after the implementation of project based learning model in history learning. This improvement was seen in several indicator of project planning phase, the originality of project, and project delivery. In conclusion, project based learning model could be the alternative way to improve students learning creativity in history learning for X IIK students in MA Negeri 1 Bandung.
