Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan atas permasalahan belum relevannya konten mata pelajaran kimia dengan mata pelajaran di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) program keahlian Farmasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meredesain elemen kurikulum (kompetensi dasar, konten, dimensi pengetahuan konten, dan strategi pembelajaran) agar relevan dengan kebutuhan SMK Program Keahlian Farmasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development yang dimodifikasi. Subjek penelitian ini ada 2 pakar pendidikan kimia, 3 orang guru kimia dan 3 orang guru program keahlian Farmasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah format validasi elemen kurikulum. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif berdasarkan kecenderungan yang dinyatakan oleh validator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kompetensi Dasar (KD) Kimia untuk Program Keahlian Farmasi menggambarkan kebutuhan kompetensi dan konten Mata Pelajaran Farmakognosi Dasar, Farmakognosi, dan Farmakologi serta KD Mata Pelajaran Kimia yang diadaptasi dari Kurikulum 2013-2017. Elemen konten kimia yang sangat relevan dengan Program Keahlian Farmasi adalah Asam-basa, benzen dan turunannya, asam karboksilat, ester, hidrokarbon dan alkaloida. Elemen konten kimia fundamental yang juga harus diberikan meliputi rumus molekul dan struktur, tata nama, gugus fungsi senyawa karbon. Dimensi pengetahuan faktual konten kimia diorientasikan pada sifat fisis dan kimia bahan-bahan kimia yang digunakan pada bidang farmasi, dimensi pengetahuan konseptual diorientasikan pada konsep esensi dan terapannya pada bidang farmasi. Strategi pembelajaran kimia diorientasikan pada pembelajaran Student Centered Learning (SCL) melalui pendekatan “Serap, Endap, Terap, dan Singkap (SETS). Kata Kunci : Kurikulum, Kimia, SMK, Farmasi, SETS This research is based on the issue of the irrelevance of chemistry subject content to subjects in the Vocational High School (VHS) Pharmacy expertise program. This study aims to redesign curriculum elements (basic competencies, content, content knowledge dimensions, and instructional strategies) to be relevant to the needs of the Vocational Pharmacy Expertise Program. The research method used is modified Research and Development. The subjects of this study were 2 chemistry education experts, 3 chemistry teachers and 3 Pharmacy expertise program teachers. The research instrument used was the format of curriculum element validation. The data analysis technique was carried out qualitatively based on the tendencies expressed by the validator. The results showed that the Basic Competence (BC) of Chemistry for the Pharmacy Expertise Program illustrates the needs of competency and content of Basic Pharmacognition, Pharmacognition, and Pharmacology Subjects and Chemistry Subject BC which was adapted from the 2013-2017 Curriculum. Chemistry content elements that are highly relevant to the Pharmacy Expertise Program are Acid-base, benzene and its derivatives, carboxylic acids, esters, hydrocarbons and alkaloids. Fundamental chemistry content elements that must also be provided include molecular formulas and structures, nomenclature, functional groups of carbon compounds. The dimensions of factual knowledge of chemistry content are oriented to the physical and chemical properties of the chemicals used in the pharmaceutical field, the conceptual knowledge dimension is oriented to the essence and its application in the pharmaceutical field. Chemistry learning strategies are oriented towards Student Centered Learning (SCL) learning through the "Absorbing, Internalyzing, Applying and Reflecting (AIAR)" approach.
