Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit berbasis android. Penelitian ini perlu dilakukan karena kurangnya aplikasi android yang tersedia pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit. Metode yang digunakan adalah Developmental Research dengan menggunakan model ADDIE pada tahap pembuatan produk. Tahapan penelitian diawali dengan penentuan karakteristik media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dan dibatasi sampai uji coba terbatas. Kelayakan media pembelajaran materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit berbasis android diperoleh dari hasil review yang dilakukan oleh reviewer, uji coba terbatas dilakukan dengan menyebarkan angket tanggapan kepada 5 orang siswa SMA kelas X dan 4 orang guru kimia. Berdasarkan hasil penentuan karakteristik media pembelajaran diperoleh karakteristik teks, gambar, video, animasi, dan narasi secara berurutan yaitu teks yang disajikan sederhana dan menjelaskan konsep definisi larutan, video yang digunakan merupakan video uji daya hantar larutan menggunakan avometer analog, gambar menampilkan model larutan elektrolit kuat, animasi menunjukkan pergerakan ion atau molekul pada pelarutan zat elektrolit atau zat non elektrolit, dan narasi persamaan reaksi pelarutan zat elektrolit dan non elektrolit. Berdasarkan hasil review media, tanggapan siswa dan tanggapan guru pembelajaran yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori baik. Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Aplikasi Android, Larutan Elektrolit dan Non Elektrolit. The goal of this research was to produce instructional media of electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solutions based on an android platform. This research required to be done due to a lack of availability of an android application on the electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution. The method used was Developmental Research using the ADDIE model in producing products. The first step is to define instructional media’s characteristics and was limited to the trial stage. Appropriateness of instructional media of electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution based on android was revealed from review resulted, the trial stage was done by distributing the respondent questionnaire to five 10th grade students and 4 chemistry teacher. Based on define instructional media characteristic was obtained text characteristic, picture, video, animation, and audio. The result of characteristic instructional media showing that used simple text and describing definition of solution, video that used is test of conductivity of solution using avometer, pictures showing strong electrolyte model’s, animation showing the motion of ions or molecules on dissolution electrolyte or non electrolyte, and audio describe reaction equation dissolution electrolyte and non electrolyte. The review and limited trial stage result showing that the instructional media of electrolyte and nonelectrolyte categorized is in good quality.
