Abstract

ABSTRAK Lia Novia Rachmawati, 1500201. (2019). Program Bimbingan Pribadi Berdasarkan Regulasi Diri Siswa Underachiever : Studi Deskriptif Regulasi Diri Siswa Underachiever kelas VII SMP Labschool UPI Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Regulasi diri dibutuhkan setiap orang sebagai gambaran kemampuan seseorang untuk melakukan kontrol terhadap diri untuk mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan, namun tidak semua orang memiliki regulasi diri yang baik. Self regulation pada siswa underachiever bisa dikatakan lebih rendah daripada siswa yang high achiever. Regulasi diri yang kurang baik dapat menimbulkan beberapa efek, misalnya tanggung jawab terhadap tujuan diri yang kurang, bahkan mungkin merasa bahwa tujuan diri ditentukan oleh orang lain. Penelitian bertujuan untuk merumuskan program bimbingan pribadi berdasarkan regulasi diri siswa underachiever yang selanjutnya melalui tahap uji rasional oleh pakar dan praktisi untuk mengetahui kelayakannya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan desain penelitian survei. Penelitian dilakukan kepada 14 siswa underachiever kelas VII di SMP Labschool UPI Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara umum regulasi siswa underachiever berada pada kategori sedang yang berarti siswa underachiever cukup mampu mengatur diri ditandai dengan kemampuan dalam menetapkan tujuan namun masih kurang terarah, terkadang masih kesulitan dalam mengambil keputusan, cukup mampu merancang gagasan dalam menyampaikan kembali informasi, terkadang sulit memhami perasaan diri sendiri, terkadang sulit mengelola perasaan dan perilaku negatif, cukup mampu mengontrol perilaku, cukup mampu menghargai tindakan, terkadang tidak menaati aturan, dan waktu yang kurang dikelola dengan baik, sehingga memerlukan program bimbingan pribadi untuk mengembangkan regulasi diri. Penelitian berhasil merumuskan program bimbingan pribadi berdasarkan regulasi diri siswa underachiever yang telah teruji kelayakannya melalui uji rasional oleh pakar dan praktisi bimbingan dan konseling. Personal Guidance Program Based on Self Regulation of Underachiever Students : Descriptive Study Self Regulation of Underachiever Students in SMP Labschool UPI Bandung Academic Year 2018/2019). Self regulation is needed by every individual as a description of their ability to control themselves. Not every individual has good self regulation such as students categorized as underachievers. Self regulation on underachiever students could be said to be lower than high achiever students. There are many factors contributing to low self regulation, such as lack of responsibility towards personal goals, even personal goals that may be set by someone else. The research was directed to formulate a personal guidance program based on the self regulation of underachiever students which is then judge by experts and practitioners. Research uses a quantitative with descriptive methods and survey research designs. The study was conducted on 14 seventh grade underachiever students at SMP Labschool UPI Bandung Academic Year 2018/2019. The results of the research indicate that underachiever students in general are in the middle category, which means that underachiever students are quite capable of distinguishing themselves from the ability to deal with goals that are still lacking in direction, still having difficulty in making decisions, being able to find information as needed, difficult to find understanding one's own feelings, overcoming the difficulties of negative feelings and problems, being able to control enough, being able to follow up, rules disobeying, and time being handled poorly, so that a personal guidance program is needed to develop self-relations. Research has succeeded in formulating a personal guidance program based on the regulations of underachiever students who have been tested for feasibility through the judgment of experts and practitioners of guidance and counseling.
