Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan banyaknya siswa yang memiliki hasil belajar dibawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi pada siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri se-Kota Bogor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self-efficacy terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu survei eksplanatori. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri se-Kota Bogor sebanyak 362 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling diperoleh sampel sebanyak 190 siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) self-efficacy berada pada kategori tinggi. (2) secara umum gambaran tingkat kesulitan pada tugas-tugas, kekuatan keyakinan akan kemampuan yang dimiliki, dan tingkat keyakinan menyelesaikan di berbagai macam tugas dan kondisi yang berbeda menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa secara simultan dengan nilai f hitung sebesar 72.636 > t tabel sebesar 2,65 dengan nilai signifikansi 0.000 < 0.05. (3) self-efficacy secara keseluruhan berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Temuan memberikan implikasi bahwa untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran ekonomi dapat melalui self-efficacy yaitu dengan cara memupuk rasa percaya diri siswa dalam rangka mengembangkan keyakinan akan kemampuannya sendiri. The background of this study was the low student learning outcomes indicated by the number of students who had their learning outcomes under the Minimum Criteria (KKM) of Economics subject in grade XI Social of Public High Schools throughout Bogor area. This study aimed to determine the effect of self-efficacy on student learning outcomes. The research methodology used in this study was explanatory survey. The population in this study were the grade XI Social students of Public High Schools throughout Bogor area as many as 362 students by using proportional random sampling technique, obtained a sample of 190 students. The data analysis technique used was multiple regression analysis. The results showed that (1) General description of self-efficacy is in the high category. (2) in general the description of the level of difficulty in the tasks, the strength of confidence in the capabilities possessed, and the generality of confidence in completing a variety of different tasks and conditions showed that there is an influence on student learning outcomes simultaneously with a calculated f value of 72,636> t table of 2.65 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. (3) overall self-efficacy affects student learning outcomes. The findings provide implication that to improve learning outcomes in economic subjects can be through self-efficacy, namely by fostering students' confidence in developing trust in their own abilities.
