Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berbicara bahasa Perancis mahasiswa Departemen Pendidikan Bahasa Perancis semester 2 sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan metode Cooperative Learning dengan teknik IOC, mengetahui keefektivitasan penggunaan metode Cooperative Learning dengan teknik IOC dalam pembelajaran berbicara bahasa Perancis tingkat A1 dan memperoleh informasi mengenai tanggapan mahasiswa Departemen Bahasa Perancis semester 2 terhadap penggunaan metode Cooperative Learning dengan teknik IOC dalam pembelajaran berbicara bahasa Perancis tingkat dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian one groups pretest-posttest. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh nilai rata-rata kemampuan berbicara bahasa Perancis mahasiswa sebelum menggunakan metode Cooperative Learning dengan tehnik inside outside circle adalah sebesar 13,7/25 dan hasil nilai rata-rata kemampuan berbicara bahasa Perancis mahasiswa setelah diberikan perlakuan adalah sebesar 18,7/25. Maka, selisih nilai antara prates dan pascates adalah sebesar 5. Selanjutnya, berdasarkan perhitungan statistik, diperoleh nilai t_hitung sebesar 7,1 dan nilai t_tabel sebesar 2.86. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa t_hitung > t_tabel. Selain itu, berdasarkan hasil analisis angket, sebanyak 65% mahasiswa menyatakan bahwa penggunaan metode Cooperative Learning dengan tehnik inside outside circle tersebut dapat menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan tidak membosankan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontibusi dalam memberikan informasi dan inovasi dalam metode dan tehnik pembelajaran dalam kemampuan berbicara bahasa asing, khususnya bahasa Perancis. The purpose of this study is to describe the French speakings ability to French-speaking of student before and after using the Cooperative Learning method with IOC (Inside Outside Circle) technique, know the effectiveness of using the Cooperative Learning method with IOC (Inside Outside Circle) technique in learning French-speaking, and obtain information about student responses to use the Cooperative Learning method with IOC (Inside Outside Circle) technique in French-speaking. This study uses pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest. The sample involved was students second semester French Language Education Departement, FPBS UPI, which amounted to 20 people. Based on the analysis result, the average value of students French speakings ability before using the Cooperative Learning method with IOC (Inside Outside Circle) technique is 13,7/25 and the average value of students French-speaking ability after being given treatment is 18,7/25. Then, the difference in value between pre-test and post-test is 5. Based on statistical calculations, a value of 7,1 and a value of 2,86. This show that t_hitung > t_tabel. Also, based on the result of a questionnaire analysis, as many as 65% of students stated that the use of Cooperative Learning method with IOC (Inside Outside Circle) technique in learning French speaking is not boring. The result of this study is expected to contribute to providing information and innovation in learnings method and techniques in speaking foreign languages, especially French.
