Abstract

ABSTRAK Judul penelitian ini adalah Strategi Critical Incident dalam Pembelajaran Tari untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Kelas VII di SMPN 3 Lembang. Kemampuan berpikir kritis adalah permasalahan yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini. Strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru dirasa belum tepat untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, hal tersebut yang mengakibatkan lemahnya kemampuan siswa dalam mengemukakan pendapat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Rumusan masalah yang terdapat pada penelitian ini adalah (1) Bagaimana kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sebelum diterapkan Strategi Critical Incident dalam Pembelajaran Tari Pada Siswa Kelas VII di SMPN 3 Lemban. (2) Bagaimana proses penerapan Strategi Critical Incident dalam Pembelajaran Tari untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Kelas VII di SMPN 3 Lembang. (3) Bagaimana hasil penerapan Strategi Critical Incident dalam Pembelajaran Tari untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sebelum diterapkan strategi critical incident cenderung lemah dengan nilai rata-rata 70. Proses pembelajran seni tari menggunakan strategi critical incident mwnunjukan siswa menjadi lebih aktif dan tertarik terhadap materi pembelajaran. selama proses pembelajaran siswa mengalami perubahan dan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritisnya sehingga terjadinya perubahan dari hasil pretest. Hasil penerapan strategi critical incident menunjukan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa meningkat dengan nilai rata-rata 87,53. Hasil uji t diperoleh nilai thitung secara keseluruhan yaitu 43,65. Jika thitung > ttabel (43,65 > 1,699), maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran seni tari menggunakan strategi critical incident signifikan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. The learning strategy used by the teacher is not appropriate to improve the ability to think critically, this has resulted in the weak ability of students to express their opinions. This study aims to improve students' critical thinking skills. The formulation of the problems contained in this study are (1) How are the students' critical thinking skills before applying the Critical Incident Strategy in Dance Learning to Class VII Students at SMPN 3 Lembang. (2) What is the process of applying the Critical Incident Strategy in Dance Learning to Improve the Critical Thinking Ability of Class VII Students at Junior High School 3 Lembang. (3) How are the results of applying the Critical Incident Strategy in Dance Learning to Improve the Critical Thinking Ability of Class VII Students at Junior High School 3 Lembang. The research method used was pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. The results of research and data processing using t test. The ability to think critically students before applying a critical incident strategy tends to be weak with an average value of 70. The process of learning dance using the critical incident strategy shows students become more active and interested in learning material. during the learning process students experience changes and in improving their critical thinking skills so that changes occur from the results of the pretest. The results of the application of the critical incident strategy showed that students' critical thinking skills increased with an average value of 87.53. T test results obtained overall t-value is 43.65. If tcount > ttable (43.65> 1,699), then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This shows that the learning of dance using a significant critical incident strategy in improving students' critical thinking skills.
