Abstract

Library instruction dilaksanakan agar pemustaka dapat memperoleh informasi yang diperlukan dengan tujuan tertentu yang berkaitan dengan temu kembali informasi. Namun pada Perpustakaan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, kegiatan library instruction hanya diberikan kepada mahasiswa S2 karena keterbatasan waktu dan tempat dalam melaksanakan kegiatan tersebut. Sehingga berdasarkan hasil analisis pemustaka, masih terdapat beberapa mahasiswa yang belum memahami cara akses e-Resources. Peneliti membuat produk sebagai solusi dari permasalahan tersebut, yakni buku panduan elektronik mengenai akses e-Resources. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membahas analisis kebutuhan pembuatan produk, pengembangan produk, serta evaluasi produk. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Design and Development dan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Partisipan pada penelitian ini adalah 2 orang ahli dan mahasiswa FPSD sebanyak 20 orang, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara dan penyebaran angket. Skala yang digunakan yaitu skala Likert yang dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif. Hasil validasi ahli materi menunjukkan kriteria “Sangat Baik”, aspek Utility (kebermanfaatan) “Sangat Baik”, Learnability “Sangat Baik”, Interest (Menarik minat) “Sangat Baik”. Menurut validator media, aspek media menunjukkan kriteria “Baik”. Hasil evaluasi berdasarkan respon pemustaka mengenai materi dan media menunjukkan kriteria penilaian “Sangat Baik” . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan dapat menjadi solusi dalam kegiatan library instruction karena telah dianggap baik oleh para ahli dan pemustaka.;--Library instruction is implemented so that users can obtain the information needed for specific purposes relating to information retrieval. However, at the Indonesia University of Education Library, library instruction activities are given to only Master’s Student because of limited time and space in carrying out these activities. So, based on the results of user analysis, there are still some students who do not understand how to access e-Resources. Researcher make a product as a solution to these problems, namely an electronic manualbook on access to e-Resources. The purpose of this study is to discuss the analysis of product manufacturing needs, product development and product evaluation. The method used in this research is the Design and Development method and ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model with a quantitative approach. Participants in this study were 2 experts and 20 FPSD students. Data collection techniques were obtained from interviews and questionnaires. The scale used was the Likert scale analyzed using descriptive methods. The results of the expert validation of the material showed the criteria “Very Good”, usefulness "Very Good", Learnability "Very Good", Interest "Very Good". According to the media validator, the media aspect shows the criteria of "Good". The results of the evaluation based on user responses regarding the material and the media show the assessment criteria of "Very Good". The results showed that the product developed could be a solution in library instruction activities because it was considered both by experts and users.
