Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sebelum dan setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran amora dan model pembelajaran konvensional; (2) perbedaan kemandirian belajar siswa sebelum dan setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran amora dan model pembelajaran konvensional; dan (3) peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sebelum dan setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran amora dan model pembelajaran konvensional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar negeri di gugus Sukasari Bandung dan sampel penelitian ini adalah dua kelas IV yang berjumlah 60 siswa. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya kemampuan matematis siswa di sekolah dasar terutama pada kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemandiran belajar. Berdasarkan hasil AKSI (Asesmen Kompetensi Siswa Indonesia) tahun 2016 faktor penyebab rendahnya kemampuan matematis siswa sekolah dasar diantaranya kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemandirian belajar siswa. Model pembelajaran amora diyakini mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemandirian belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasi-Eksperiment dengan desain Non-Equivalen Control Group. Pada desain ini diadakan pretest dan posttest pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Data penelitian berupa data kuantitatif (tes) dan kualitatif (angket dan lembar observasi). Hasil penelitian diperoleh kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemandirian belajar siswa yang diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran amora lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Perbedaan dalam ilmu statistika berbeda secara signifikan baik dalam kemampuan berpikir kritis maupun kemandirian belajar siswa. Kesimpulan pada penelitian adalah model pembelajaran amora dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemandirian belajar siswa secara signifikan.;--This study aims to determine (1) differences in students' critical thinking skills before and after using the Amora learning model and conventional learning models; (2) differences in student learning independence before and after using the Amora learning model and conventional learning models; and (3) improving students' critical thinking skills before and after using the Amora learning model and conventional learning models. The population of this study were fourth grade students of public elementary schools in the Sukasari Bandung group and the sample of this study were two classes IV, totaling 60 students. The background of this research is the low mathematical ability of students in primary schools, especially in critical thinking skills and learning independence. Based on the results of AKSI (Assessment of Indonesian Student Competence) in 2016, the causes of the low mathematical abilities of elementary school students include critical thinking skills and student learning independence. The amora learning model is believed to be able to improve critical thinking skills and student learning independence. The method used in this study is Quasi-Experiment with the design of Non-Equivalent Control Group. In this design, pretest and posttest were held in the experimental class and the control class. The research data are quantitative (test) and qualitative data (questionnaire and observation sheet). The results of the study obtained critical thinking skills and learning independence of students who were treated with the Amora learning model were higher than students who learned to use conventional learning models. Differences in statistical science differ significantly in both critical thinking skills and student learning independence. The conclusion of the research is that the Amora learning model can significantly improve students' critical thinking skills and learning independence.
