Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berbicara siswa kelas VIII D SMP Pasundan 2 Bandung pada materi pembelajaran pidato sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model cooperative script, serta untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan berbicara siswa pada materi pembelajaran pidato sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model cooperative script. Metode pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen. Desain yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pretest dan posttest group. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes lisan atau berbicara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bisa disimpulkan bahwa 1) kemampuan berbicara siswa pada materi pembelajaran pidato sebelum menggunakan model cooperative script berdasarkan hasil pretest 66,55 dari kriteria ketuntasan minimal 78,00; 2) kemampuan berbicara siswa pada materi pembelajaran pidato setelah menggunakan model cooperative script berdasarkan hasil posttest 81,21; 3) ada perbedaan yang signifikan dari hasil kemampuan berbicara siswa pada materi pembelajaran pidato sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model cooperative script berdasarkan nilai prates 66,55 meningkat menjadi 81,21 perbedaan hasil prates dengan postes yaitu 14,66. Hasil uji hipotésis data t_itung (19,79) >t_tabél (2,46). Artinya hipotésis alternatif (Ha) diterima dan hipotésis nol (Ho) ditolak. Bisa disimpulkan bahwa model cooperative script bisa meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa kelas VIII D SMP Pasundan 2 Bandung tahun ajaran 2017/2018 pada materi pembelajaran pidato.;--The purpose of this research is to describe speech ability of students of VIII D class SMP Pasundan 2 Bandung on speech learning material before and after using cooperative script model, also to know the significant difference of students speaking ability on speech learning material before and after using of cooperative script model. The method of this research is using quasi experiment method. The deisgn on this research is using pretest and posttest group. The instrument that used is oral test. Depending on the result of this research, it can be concluded 1) The students' speaking ability on speech learning materials before using cooperative script model depend on pretest result is 66,55 from 78 minimal standard; 2) The students' speaking ability on speech learning materials after using cooperative script model depend on posttest result is 81,21; 3) there is a significant difference of students' speaking ability on speech learning material before and after using cooperative script model depend on pretest result point 66,55 increase to 81,21 with the difference between pretest and posttest 14,66. The result of the data hypothesis test t_itung (19,79) >t_tabél (2,46). It means alternate hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and zero hypothesis (Ho) is denied. It can be conclude that cooperative script model can improve the speaking ability of VIII D SMP Pasundan 2 students academic year 2017/2018 on speech learning materials.
