Abstract

Pertukaran data merupakan hal yang sudah sangat lazim bagi setiap orang, seperti data pribadi, data perusahaan, hingga data-data negara yang bersifat rahasia. Pertukaran data yang tidak dilindungi mudah untuk dicuri oleh pihak yang tidak berwenang. Untuk mengamankan pertukaran data tersebut, dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode steganografi teknik Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT). Teknik DCT diimplementasikan pada video digital Motion Joint Picture Expert Group (MJPEG). Nilai PSNR rata-rata yang diperoleh dari hasil pengujian yaitu 42,51dB dengan nilai CER rata-rata 0,29%. Nilai tersebut menunjukkan bahwa teknik DCT dapat diimplementasikan pada video digital MJPEG. Data exchange is a very common thing for everyone, such as personal data, company data, to state data that are confidential. Exchange of unprotected data is easily stolen by unauthorized parties. To secure the exchange of data, the steganography method used in the Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) technique was used in this study. The DCT technique is implemented in the Motion Joint Picture Expert Group (MJPEG) digital video. The average PSNR value obtained from the test results is 42.51dB with an average CER value of 0.29%. This value indicates that the DCT technique can be implemented on MJPEG digital video.
