Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil penelitian dari CCSU dan UNESCO yang menyatakan bahwa tingkat literasi menulis di Indonesia masih rendah, khususnya dalam menulis sinopsis pada siswa sekolah dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh metode cooperative script berbasis media film kartun terhadap kemampuan menulis sinopsis siswa sekolah dasar, untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran menulis sinopsis melalui metode cooperative script berbasis media film kartun dan untuk mengidentifikasi adanya perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan menulis sinopsis antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan metode cooperative script berbasis media film kartun dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan metode ceramah dan demonstrasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, sehingga yang terpilih menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 09 Pulau Punjung dengan jumlah siswa 40 orang dan dibagi menjadi dua kelompok belajar. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan statistika deskriptif. Adapun hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh metode cooperative script berbasis media film kartun terhadap kemampuan menulis sinopsis siswa sekolah dasar, proses pembelajaran menulis sinopsis dengan metode cooperative script berbasis media film kartun dilakukan sebanyak enam kali pertemuan dengan melakukan beberapa evaluasi pada setiap pertemuan, serta terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan menulis sinopsis antara siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Dengan demikian, dalam pembelajaran menulis kedepannya guru diharapkan dapat mengembangkan kegiatan pembelajaran dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan menulis siswa. Kata Kunci: Metode Cooperative Script, Film Kartun, Kemampuan Menulis Sinopsis. This research is motivated by the results of research from CCSU and UNESCO which states that the literacy level of writing in Indonesia is still low, especially in writing synopsis in elementary school students. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of cooperative script method based on cartoon film media on the ability to write synopsis of elementary school students, to know the learning process of writing synopsis through cooperative script method based on cartoon film media and to identify the difference of the ability improvement to write synopsis between students who follow the learning with cooperative script method based on cartoon film media and those who follow the learning with lecture and demonstration methods. This research is a quasi-experimental research with quantitative approach. The sampling of the research was done by purposive sampling technique, so that the selected one to be the sample in this research is the students of class V SDN 09 Pulau Punjung with the number of students 40 people and divided into two study groups. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique and descriptive statistic. The result of this research proves that there is influence of cooperative script method based on cartoon film media on the ability to write synopsis of elementary school students, the process of learning to write synopsis with cooperative script method based on cartoon film media is done six times meeting by doing some evaluation at each meeting, and there is the difference in the ability improvement to write synopsis between experiment class students and control classes. Thus, in the next learning to write, teachers are expected to develop learning activities in an effort to improve students' writing skills.
