Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan sekarang yaitu metode mengajar guru yang bersifat kurang aktif, kreatif dan bersifat konvensional. Dari permasalahan tersebut, maka peneliti menggunakan metode pembelajaran Student Active Learning berbasis kartu dalam pembelajaran IPA di kelas 4 SD Negeri Tugu 9. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mencari jawaban apakah penggunaan metode Student Active Learning berbasis kartu dapat meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa. Penelitian ini berupa Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, yang dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Instrumen Pembelajaran yaitu Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran ( RPP ), Lembar Kerja Siswa ( LKS ), dan Lembar Post Test, sedangkan Instrumen penelitiannya berupa Lembar Observasi guru dan siswa. Kondisi awal Hasil Belajar hanya mencapai KKM 40 % dan Nilai rata-rata 65 dari 45 siswa, setelah menggunakan metode Student Active Learning berbasis kartu, pada Siklus I terdapat peningkatan, yaitu siswa yang tuntas dalam pembelajaran berjumlah 37 atau 82 %, sedangkan siswa yang belum tuntas dalam pembelajaran berjumlah 8 atau 8 % , Nilai rata-rata yang dicapai adalah 89,23 dengan persentase KKM 82 %. Pada Siklus II, hasil belajar siswa meningkat. Siswa yang tuntas dalam pembelajaran adalah 42 orang atau 93 % dan siswa yang belum tuntas dalam pembelajaran berjumlah 3 orang atau 7 %, Nilai rata-rata yang dicapai adalah 90,10 dan persentase KKM 98 %. Berdasarkan Standar Penilaian Dirjen Pendidikan Tinggi bahwa Hasil Belajar tersebut tergolong baik sekali. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut, maka penulis berkesimpulan bahwa Penggunaan metode Student Active Learning untuk meningkatkan Hasil Belajar siswa dapat diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran agar lebih aktif dan menyenangkan bagi siswa.
