Abstract
ABSTRAK Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Berbasis Asisted Learning Bagi Anak Berkesulitan Belajar Matematika Siska Syofiana NIM . 1706467 Beberapa fakta dilapangan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan perangkat pembelajaran yang tidak tepat merupakan salah satu faktor yang sering menyebabkan siswa gagal dalam memahami materi pelajaran, terlebih pada mata pelajaran matematika dimana materinya cendrung bersifat abstrak. Hal ini mendorong peneliti untuk megkaji secara empirik serta menganalisis literature untuk dapat menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika yang berbasis assisted learning yang dapat mengakomodasi kebutuhan belajar siswa berkesulitan belajar dikelasnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan suatu perangkat pembelajaran berbasis assisted learning bagi anak berkesulitan belajar matematika, dan bagaimana keefektifan dari pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian pengembangan (Research & development ). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah satu orang siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar matematika di kelas III SDN 179 Sarijadi Kota Bandung dan satu orang guru kelas III yang bertanggung jawab dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran dikelas tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan dapat membantu pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar matematika. Berdasarkan penelitian, maka direkomendasikan kepada guru untuk menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan. ABSTRACT Developing an Assisted-Learning Based Teaching Instrument for Students with Mathematics Learning Disabilities Siska Syofiana Student’s ID 1706467 Some facts in the field show that the use of learning devices that are not appropriate is one of the factors that causes failures among students in understanding learning materials, especially in learning about mathematics materials that have always been considered abstract. This problem intrigued the researcher to conduct this empirical research which aimed to investigate and analyze related literatures in order to design an assisted-learning based learning devices to accommodate the needs of students with mathematic learning disabilities. Research and Development design was used in this research to design an assisted-learning based teaching instrument for mathematics teaching and to analyze the effectiveness of the learning devices. The subjects of this research ware a 3rd grade student with mathematics learning disability in 179 Sarijadi State Elementary School in Bandung City and the classroom teacher of the 3rd grade class. The obtained date were both quantitatively and qualitatively analyzed. The results of the data analysis showed that the instrument developed in this research has given positive contribution in the learning process and improved student’s mathematic skills. Regarding to the results of this research, the classroom teacher is recommended to use the instrument developed in this research for teaching.
