Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis antara siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan model Pembelajaran Problem Posing Teknik Think Pair Share (TPS) dengan siswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran konvensional. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain kelompok kontrol pre-test dan post-test.. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dengan pokok bahasan Prisma dan Limas, angket sikap siswa, lembar observasi, wawancara siswa, dan refleksi pasca pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada tahun ajaran 2012/2013 ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang mendapatkan model Problem Posing Teknik Think Pair Share (TPS) lebih baik daripada siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran konvensional. Pada penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa 63% siswa pada kelas yang mendapat perlakuan telah mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Materi (KKM) yang ditetapkan oleh sekolah yaitu 78. Sedangkan tandingannya, siswa pada kelas yang tidak mendapat perlakuan hanya 46% siswa yang mengalami peningkatan nilai lebih besar sama dengan KKM. Secara umum, siswa memberikan sikap positif terhadap model Pembelajaran Problem Posing Teknik Think Pair Share (TPS). Kata kunci : Problem Posing, Think Pair Share, Problem Posing Teknik Think Pair Share (TPS), kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis This research aims to find out if there is a difference in mathematical problem solving ability improvement among students who received instruction with a learning Problem Posing Techniques Think Pair Share (TPS) with students who obtain the conventional learning approach. The method used in this research is a method of experimentation with the design control group pre-test and post-test. The Research Data are obtained through tests of the ability of mathematical problem solving of students with the subject of Prisma and Limas, the questionnaire of students attitude, a student interview, observation, and reflection on postgraduate study. The results of the research conducted in the academic year 2012/2013. Further analysis of the results shows that increased ability of the mathematical problem solving of students who get the model Problem Posing Techniques Think Pair Share (TPS) better than students who get conventional learning approach. In this research it was found that 63% of students in the class who got the treatment have reached the Criteria of Material Completeness that set forth by the school's 78. While the other class, which class who the students didn't get the treatment only 46% of students who reached the Criteria of Material Completeness. In General, students give a positive attitude towards learning Problem Posing Techniques Think Pair Share (TPS).
