Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman konsep siswa kelas V pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) di salah satu sekolah dasar di Kota Bandung. Hal tersebut ditandai dengan rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA. Berdasarkan studi dokumentasi sebagian besar siswa belum mampu menyimpulkan pembelajaran dengan bahasanya sendiri, siswa juga belum bisa menjelaskan kembali materi yang telah dipelajari. Terdapat 50% siswa masih belum bisa membandingkan dan menghubungkan antara satu fakta dengan konsep yang telah dipelajari. Maka dari itu perlu dilakukan sebuah penelitian yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep IPA dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kolaboratif murder. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart dengan dua siklus. Dari hasil tindakan siklus I hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan menjadi 75% siswa tuntas, dan pada tindakan siklus II meningkat menjadi 95% siswa tuntas. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kolaboratif murder dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep IPA pada siswa kelas V sekolah dasar.-- This research is motivated by the low understanding of the concept of class V students in science learning (IPA) in one of the primary schools in Bandung. It is characterized by low student learning outcomes in science learning. Based on the documentation study most of the students have not been able to conclude the learning with their own language, the students also have not been able to explain back the material that has been studied. There are 50% of students still can not compare and connect between one fact with the concept that has been studied. Therefore it is necessary to conduct a study aimed at improving the understanding of the concept of IPA by applying cooperative learning model murder. The research method used is Research Action Class (PTK) Kemmis and Mc. Taggart with two cycles. From result of action of cycle I result of student learning have increase to become 75% student complete, and at second cycle action increase to 95% student complete. It shows that cooperative learning model of murder can improve understanding of science concept in grade V elementary school students.
