    Abstract

    Penelitian tentang Kajian Sastra Lisan Nyanyian Balela dilatarbelakangi oleh
    kurangnya penghargaan terhadap balela pada era moderen, kebudayaan tidak
    mendapatkan perhatian dalam pembangunan di Indonesia, nyanyian balela yang
    jarang dinyanyikan oleh masyarakat, Nilai-nilai luhur belum terungkap
    sepenuhnya kepada khalayak, pelantun nyanyian balela yang sedikit dan telah
    uzur, kurangnya keinginan pelantun untuk mewariskannya, kekhawatiran akan
    punahnya bahasa daerah yang tedapat dalam nyanyian balela dan ketidakpahaman
    masyarakat tentang cara melestarikan nyanyian balela. Berdasarkan latar belakang
    dan bentuk pengkajian sastra lisan, penelitian ini memiliki tujuan
    mendeskripsikan hal berikut: (1) struktur teks nyanyian balela (2), konteks
    penuturan nyanyian balela, (3) proses penciptaan dan pewarisan nyanyian balela,
    (4) nilai dan fungsi nyanyian balela, dan (5) memaparkan bentuk pemanfaatan
    nyanyian balela. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut dilakukan penelitian secara
    kualitatif. Analisis dan pembahasan data dilakukan berasarkan teori kajian sastra
    lisan yang dapat digunakan mencapai tujuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian sebagai
    berikut: (1) Nyanyian balela memiliki struktur internal sintaksis yang lengkap,
    memiliki asonansi bunyi diftong, memiliki 90 % aliterasi, memiliki rima pada
    setiap bait, memiliki irama yang monoton, memiliki 26 diksi yang arkais dan
    terdiri dari 50% majas. (2) Berdasarkan konteks penuturannya, nyanyian balela
    tidak terikat situasi tertentu dan memilki pengaruh kebudayaan Minangkabau
    daerah Balai Selasa. (3) Nyanyian balela diciptakan secara spontan dan
    terstruktur, lalu diwariskan secara vertikal dan horizontal. (4) Nyanyian balela
    memiliki nilai moral, pendidikan dan budaya, lalu memilki fungsi sebagai
    nyanyian penidur anak, mendidik, proyeksi, alat pemertahanan kebudayaan,
    bentuk ekspresi masyarakat dan hiburan. (5) Pemanfaatan dan pelestarian
    nyanyian balela dapat dilakukan dengan menjadikan balela sebagai bahan ajar
    berbentuk buku teks.;--- Research on Oral Literary Studies of Balela song motivated by the problems faced
    by the singing as part of oral literature in Indonesia. The problems were identified
    as the lack of appreciation to balela song in the modern society, the culture did
    not receive attention in development in Indonesia, the songs of balela rarely sung
    by the Minangkabau community of Balai Selasa Region , noble text of balela
    values in the highly useful have not been fully revealed to the audiences, the chant
    singers humble , the lack of desire of balela singer the remaining to in her it, the
    fear of the disappearance of local languages balela song and people's of about
    how to preserve and utilize the song lack understanding balela. Based on the
    background and form of oral literature review, this study has the purpose of
    describing the following: (1) the structure of the text of balela (2), the context of
    singing balela, (3) the process of creation and inheritance of balela song, (4) the
    value and function of the balela song, and (5) describes the use of balela. To
    achieve these objectives, qualitative research is conducted. The research location
    is located in Balai Selasa, West Sumatra. The analysis and discussion of the data
    is based on the theory of oral literature study that can be used to achieve the
    research objectives. The results of the study are as follows: (1) singing Balela has
    a complete syntactic internal structure, has diphthong sound, has 90%
    alliteration, has rhymes on each stanza, has a monotonic rhythm, has 26 archaic
    diction and consists of 50% majas. (2) Based on the context of the narrative, the
    singing of balela is not tied to a particular situation and has the influence of
    Minangkabau culture in the Balai Selasa district. (3) Balela song created
    spontaneously and structured, then inherited vertically and horizontally. (4) The
    hymn chant has moral, educational and cultural values, and has the function of
    child singing, educating, projection, cultural defense, community expression and
    entertainment. (5) The use and preservation of balela song can be done by making
    balela as textbook material.
