    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya keterampilan menulis kreatif, khususnya dalam pengembangan ide menjadi suatu tulisan yang menarik. Pembelajaran yang kurang menarik juga menjadi salah satu faktor penyebabnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatkan keterampilan menulis kreatif dengan menerapkan metode quantum writing. Pembelajaran dengan menerapkan metode quantum writing terdiri dari tujuh langkah yakni persiapan, draft kasar, berbagi, memperbaiki, penyuntingan, menuliskan kembali dan evaluasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang mengadaptasi dari Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi, lembar kerja siswa, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Subjek dari penelitian adalah siswa kelas III di salah satu sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Coblong Kota Bandung yang berjumlah 38 siswa. Hasil dari siklus I menunjukan keterampilan menulis kreatif (laporan pengalaman) siswa mencapai 47% dengan rata-rata nilai 63. Capaian tersebut meningkat pada siklus II kemampuan menulis kreatif (puisi) sebesar 71% dengan rata-rata nilai 72. Pada saat pelaksanaan siklus III pencapaian keterampilan menulis kreatif (naskah drama) meningkat menjadi 86% dengan rata-rata nilai 80. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode quantum writing terbukti dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis kreatif siswa. Oleh karena itu, diharapkan metode quantum writing ini dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran di kelas untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis kreatif.;--This study was motivated by the lack of creative writing skills, especially in the ideas development. Then, the less-interesting learning was also one of the motivations. This study was intended to describe the improvement of creative writing skill by applying quantum writing method. Applying the quantum writing method consists of seven steps: preparation, rough draft, sharing, improving, editing, rewriting and evaluation. The study was employed Classroom Action Research method (PTK) which adapted from Kemmis and Mc. Taggart and was implemented in three cycles with observation sheets, worksheets, field notes and documentations. The subject of the study was 38 third grader students in one elementary school in Coblong Bandung. The findings of the first cycle show that students’ creative writing skill (experience report) reached 47% with an average score of 63. The achievement was increased in the second cycle of creative writing ability (poetry) by 71% with an average score of 72. In the cycle III the achievement of creative writing skills (drama script) increased into 86% with an average score of 80. The results prove that the application of quantum writing method can improve students' creative writing skills sufficiently. Hence it is expected that quantum writing method can be used as the alternative way to improve creative writing skill.
