Abstract

Rendahnya kepekaan tinggi rendah nada peserta didik di sekolah dasar masih menjadi permasalahan, terutama dalam menciptakan sense of music. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode Dalcroze melalui aplikasi Meludia Melody – Ear Training terhadap kepekaan tinggi rendah nada dan perbedaannya dengan pembelajaran konvensional; serta untuk mengetahui respon peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran yang menggunakan metode Dalcroze melalui aplikasi Meludia Melody - Ear Training pada peningkatan kepekaan tinggi rendah nada. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuasi-eksperimen dengan nonequivalent control group design. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu 2 rombel kelas IV di salahsatu sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Cimanggung, Sumedang, dengan jumlah 39 peserta didik di kelas eksperimen dan 36 peserta didik di kelas kontrol. Peningkatan hasil belajar didiagnosis melalui tes kepekaan tinggi rendah nada dan respon peserta didik didiagnosis melalui angket, lembar observasi kinerja guru dan aktivitas peserta didik, jurnal harian, serta catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan metode Dalcroze melalui aplikasi Meludia Melody - Ear Training memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap kepekaan tinggi rendah nada dan lebih baik secara cukup signifikan sebesar 17% daripada pembelajaran konvensional, serta terdapat respon positif dari peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode Dalcroze melalui aplikasi Meludia Melody - Ear Training. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode Dalcroze melalui aplikasi Meludia Melody - Ear Training dapat membantu meningkatkan keterampilan kepekaan tinggi rendah nada. This study aims to determine the effect of the Dalcroze method through the application Meludia Melody - Ear Training of low-high sensitivity tones and differences with conventional learning; and to find out the students' responses to learning using the Dalcroze method through the application Meludia Melody - Ear Training on increasing low-high sensitivity tones. The research design used was quasi-experiment with nonequivalent control group design. The subjects of this study were 2 rows in class IV at one of the primary schools in Cimanggung Subdistrict, Sumedang, with 39 students in the experimental class and 36 students in the control class. Improved learning outcomes were diagnosed through a low-high sensitivity tones test and the response of students diagnosed through questionnaires, teacher performance observation sheets and student activities, daily journals, and field notes. The results showed that learning using the Dalcroze method through the application Meludia Melody - Ear Training had a positive influence on low-high sensitivity tones and was significantly better at 17% than conventional learning, and there was a positive response from students to learning using the Dalcroze method through the application Meludia Melody - Ear Training. Based on the results of these studies it can be concluded that the Dalcroze method through the application Meludia Melody - Ear Training can help improve low-high sensitivity tones skills.
