Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya sikap percaya diri siswa kelas V, hal ini terjadi karena kekurangan dari berbagai pihak termasuk guru sebagai penyelenggara pendidikan dalam pembelajaran belum menggunakan model pembelajaran yang bervariasi dan tidak melibatkan siswa aktif. Adapun presentase yang menunjukkan percaya diri siswa berdasarkan permasalahan yang terjadi, yaitu sebanyak 30% siswa yang sudah memenuhi kriteria percaya diri baik dan 70% siswa yang memenuhi kriteria cukup dan kurang percaya diri. Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan sikap percaya diri siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada siswa kelas V di salah satu SDN Kecamatan Sukajadi, Kota Bandung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan peningkatan sikap percaya diri siswa kelas V dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share. Penelitian menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas model Kemmis dan Taggart dengan dua siklus dan setiap siklusnya terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian yaitu siswa yang mendapatkan skor sikap percaya diri dalam kriteria baik pada siklus I 45% sedangkan siklus II 80%, siswa yang mendapatkan skor sikap percaya diri dalam kriteria cukup pada siklus I 45% sedangkan pada siklus II 20%, siswa yang mendapat skor sikap percaya diri dalam kriteria kurang pada siklus I 10% pada siklus II yaitu tidak ada. Rata-rata perolehan skor sikap percaya diri secara keseluruhan pada siklus I yaitu 72,78 % meningkat pada siklus II yaitu 86,67%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini penerapanmodel pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share dapat meningkatkan sikap percaya diri siswa.;--This study based on research by the confident attitude of low grade V, this happens because of the shortcomings of various parties including teachers as education providers in the study are not yet using a varied and learning models does not involve the students active. As for the percentage of students who demonstrate confidence based on problems occurred, that is as much as 30% of students who already meet the criteria of good confidence and 70% of students that meet the criteria of sufficient and less confident. Cooperative learning model types think pair share is expected to improve the attitude of the confident students. This research was conducted to the students of classes V in one of SDN Subdistrict Sukajadi, Bandung. The purpose of this study is to describe the planning, implementation, and improvement of the attitude of the confident grade V by implementing cooperative learning model types think pair share. Research using research methods class action model Kemmis and Taggart with two cycles and each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Results of the study i.e. students who get score of attitude confident in criteria good cycle 1 45% whereas the cycle II 80%, students who obtain a score of attitude confident in criteria enough cycle 1 45% whereas in cycle II 20%, students who score attitude of confidence in the criteria less in the first cycle of 10% in the second cycle that is not there. Average yield a confidence score overall in the first cycle ie 72.78% increase in the second cycle is 86.67%. The conclusions of this study the application of cooperative learning model type think pair share can improve student self-confidence.
