Abstract

Kepedulian sosial merupakan salah satu ciri khas karakter manusia Indonesia yang terpresentasikan dalam nilai-nilai Pancasila. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penguatan karakter kepedulian sosial peserta didik sebagai aktualisasi nilai Pancasila. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus di SMP Darul Hikam Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Penguatan karakter kepedulian sosial telah berhasil dilakukan melalui salah satu pilar dalam program lima pilar kesiswaan yang dilaksanakan dalam beberapa kegiatan yang meliputi wakaf buku (gerakan literasi sekolah), infaq jum’at, praktek penyembelihan dan pembagian hewan qurban, saba desa, gerakan pungut sampah, kunjungan panti asuhan, kunjungan panti sosial, ramadhan charity, social work book online, infaq, bantuan, dan kunjungan musibah; (2) Penguatan karakter kepedulian sosial berperan penting bagi sekolah dalam pengembangan karakter dan budaya sekolah; (3) Implementasi kegiatan penguatan karakter kepedulian sosial peserta didik di SMP Darul Hikam Bandung dilakukan secara rutin dan insidental; serta (4) Penguatan karakter kepedulian sosial peserta didik di SMP Darul Hikam Bandung dapat memperkuat aktualisasi nilai Pancasila karena kegiatan yang dilakukan merupakan bagian dari aktualisasi nilai Pancasila. ---------Pro-social is one of the characteristics of Indonesia's human character which is presented in the values of Pancasila. The purpose of this study was to determine the strengthening pro-social character of student as the actualization of Pancasila values. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method at Darul Hikam Middle School Bandung. The results showed that: (1) Strengthening pro-social character has been successfully carried out through one of the pillars in the five-pillar student program which was carried out in several activities including book waqf (school literacy movement), infaq friday, practice of slaughtering and distribution of qurban, saba desa, garbage collection movement, orphanage visits, pro-social visits, ramadhan charity, social work book online, infaq, assistance, and disaster visits; (2) Strengthening pro-social character plays an important role for schools in the development of character and school culture; (3) Implementation of activities to strengthen the pro-social character of students in Darul Hikam Middle School Bandung is carried out routinely and incidentally; and (4) Strengthening the pro-social character of students in Darul Hikam Middle School Bandung can strengthen the actualization of Pancasila values because the activities carried out are part of the actualization of Pancasila values.
