Abstract
Pada penelitian tentang “PEMBUATAN IRINGAN MUSIK DENGAN BAND IN A BOX DALAM MATA KULIAH INSTRUMEN TIUP (SAXOPHONE) DI UNIVERSITAS PENDIDIKAN INDONESIA” bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pembuatan iringan musik dengan Band in a Box dalam mata kuliah Instrumen tiup (Saxophone) 3. Hal ini dikarenakan, dalam penggunaan software sebagai media pembelajaran, mengetahui kegunaan dan cara penggunaan software tersebut juga cukup penting. Dalam mata kuliah Instrumen Tiup (Saxophone) 3, disini mahasiswa belajar bagaimana cara untuk membuat iringan musik atau minus one dengan Band in a Box. Penelitian ini berfokus kepada pembuatan iringan musik dengan Band in a Box, yang mana peneliti menggunakan teori tentang media pembelajaran, MIDI, Minus one, Band in a Box. Peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dalam penelitian ini. Hasil Pertimbangan yang menjadikan Band in a Box sebagai media dalam mata kuliah Instrumen Tiup (Saxophone) dikarenakan Band in a Box itu praktis dan mempunyai fitur-fitur yang sangat mudah dalam pembuatan minus one. Praktis disini dikarenakan dari proses pembuatan iringan musik dengan Band in a Box, hanya menuliskan akord dan mengatur style pada dasar pembuatan minus one. Dilihat dari hasil pembuatan iringan musik dengan Band in a Box, peneliti menemukan bahwa suara yang dihasilkan Band in a Box kurang bagus kualitasnya. Tetapi Band in a Box menghasilkan iringan musik yang bagus. Hal ini dikarenakan dalam software Band in a Box banyak sekali iringan musik dari musisi-musisi dunia.;--This study about " THE MAKING OF MUSICAL ACCOMPANIMENT WITH THE BAND IN A BOX OF INFLATABLE INSTRUMENTS COURSE (SAXOPHONE) AT UNIVERSITAS PENDIDIKAN INDONESIA " aims to find out how the process of making musical accompaniment with the Band in a Box on the subject of Saxophone 3. This is because in the use of software as a learning medium, knowing the uses and ways to use the software is also quite important. In the course of Inflatable Instruments (Saxophone) 3, here are students learn how to make musical accompaniment or minus one with a Band in a Box. This research focuses on making musical accompaniment with band in a box, where researchers use theories about learning media, MIDI, Minus one, Band in a Box. The researcher uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach in this study. Result of Considerations that make Band in a Box as a medium in the course of Inflatable Instruments (Saxophone) are because the Band in a Box is practical and has features that are very easy in making minus one. Practically here are because of the process of making musical accompaniment with the Band in a Box, just write chords and set the style on the basis of making minus one. Judging from the results of making music accompaniment with the band in a box, researchers found that the sound produced by the Band in a Box lacked good quality. But the Band in a Box produces good musical accompaniment. This is because in the Band in a Box software there are many musical accompaniments from world musicians.
