Abstract

Kehadiran leasing syariah sebagai lembaga yang membantu masyarakat dalam pembiayaan khususnya kredit sepeda motor menjadi alternatif pilihan baru. Namun, dibalik perkembangan leasing syariah masih dihadapkan dengan berbagai tantangan, salah satunya adalah pemikiran masyarakat yang mengganggap tidak ada perbedaan antara leasing syariah dan leasing konvensional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai persepsi konsumen terhadap leasing konvensional dan leasing syariah, dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara keduanya berdasarkan faktor harga, selera konsumen dan religiusitas. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah konsumen PT. Federal International Finance Kantor Cabang Bandung Barat yang berdomisili di Kecamatan Cipatat dengan jumlah sampel 86 orang konsumen FIF konvensional dan 32 orang konsumen FIF syariah dengan teknik random sampling. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey dengan pendekatan dekriptif kuantitatif. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis Mann Whitney U Test dengan SPSS. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan persepsi antara konsumen leasing konvensional dan konsumen leasing syariah di PT. FIF, begitu pula ketika pengujian masing-masing variabel menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan persepsi konsumen dalam selera dan tingkat religiusitas, namun berbeda dengan variabel harga yang menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan persepsi konsumen terhadap harga sepeda motor. Dalam penelitian ini, konsumen menganggap bahwa leasing syariah lebih baik daripada leasing konvensional, hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan tingginya skor pada indikator evaluasi, artinya konsumen syariah bersedia merekomendasikan leasing yang mereka gunakan ke lingkungan sosialnya. ;---The presence of sharia leasing as an institution that helps the public in financing, especially motorcycle credit becomes an alternative new choice. However, behind the development of sharia leasing is still faced with various challenges, one of which is the thinking of society who assume there is no difference between sharia leasing and conventional leasing. This study aims to obtain a description of consumer perceptions of conventional leasing and sharia leasing, and to determine the extent of the difference between the two based on price factors, consumer tastes and religiosity. Population in this research is consumer of PT. Federal International Finance West Bandung branch office domiciled in District Cipatat with the number of samples of 86 consumers of conventional FIF and 32 sharia FIF consumers with random sampling technique. The method used is survey method with quantitative decriptive approach. The data analysis used was Mann Whitney U Test with SPSS. The results of this study indicate that there is a difference of perception between consumer of conventional leasing and consumer of sharia leasing at PT. FIF, as well as testing each variable indicates that there are differences in consumer perceptions in taste and level of religiosity, but unlike the price variable indicating that there is no difference in consumer perceptions of motorcycle prices. In this study, consumers assume that sharia leasing is better than conventional leasing, as indicated by the high score on the evaluation indicator, meaning that sharia consumers are willing to recommend the leasing that they use to their social environment.
