Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan atas dasar hasil temuan pada studi PISA 2000-2015, rendahnya kemampuan literasi siswa Indonesia dan proses pembelajaran yang menitikberatkan pada konten menjadi masalah yang perlu diupayakan solusinya. Sebagai salah satu sarana formal, sekolah menjadi sarana yang tepat guna perbaikan ini, hal tersebut dapat terwujud dengan pembelajaran yang memperkuat pemahaman tentang hakikat sains dan hakikat tentang teknologi. Keduanya dapat secara bersamaan diintegrasikan melalui aktivitas teknosains, sehingga diharapkan siswa dapat lebih memahami tentang hakikat sains dan teknologi (VNOST). Salah satu teknologi kekinian yang menjadi perhatian adalah grafena dan cairan ionik. Secara spesifik penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkontruksi kit dan lembar kerja praktikum inkuiri terbimbing isolasi grafena berbasis cairan ionik untuk siswa SMA yang bermuatan VNOST yang dikembangkan berdasarkan perspektif saintis terhadap grafena; prakonsepsi siswa terkait grafena; perspektif VNOST siswa; hasil analisis kesesuaian kurikulum dan hasil optimalisai prosedur isolasi grafena berbasis cairan ionic yang sesuai dengan tahapan pada metode penelitian desain Model of Educational Reconstruction (MER). Berdasarkan hasil kajian terhadap literatur para teknologi grafena didapat bahwa ide-ide dasar pengetahuan tentang teknologi grafena memiliki kesesuaian dengan konsep-konsep kimia sekolah dan dapat dijadikan sebagai konteks atau tema pembelajaran kimia yang menarik, potensial, dan aplikatif dan sesuai dengan konten kurikulum 2013 revisi, sedangkan hasil pada prakonsepsi siswa menunjukan bahwa kegiatan praktikum tidak pernah dilakukan, dan urgensi adanya LKS disambut dengan baik. Kemudian hasil yang diperoleh pada 79 siswa kelas XI bahwa mereka memiliki perspektif tentang VNOST yang masih keliru dan naïf terutama pada pandangan tentang sains yang berorientasi pada konten, dan hal tersebut sesuai dengan permaslaahan yang terdapat pada praktis pendidikan di Indonesia, dan mereka menganggap bahwa dengan hanya belajar sains maka dengan sendirinya teknologi dapat dikuasai. Temuan-temuan tersebut dikontruksi sedemikian rupa sehingga menghasilkan lembar kerja yang sesuai dengan tingkat kemampuan siswa, terintegrasi VNOST, dan aplikatif sesuai dengan perkembangan sains dan teknologi kontemporer.;---This study was conducted based on the findings of the PISA 2000-2015 study, the low literacy ability of Indonesian students and the learning process that focuses on the "knowledge of science" becomes a problem that needs to be solved. As one of the formal means, school is an appropriate means of improvement, it leads to learning about the nature of science and the nature of technology. To develop both of this knowledge to the students, it is necessary to integrate both science and technology, by means techno-science activity, so that the students could understand more about nature of science and technology (NOST). One of technology which is recently take a spot light is graphene. The purpose of this study is knowing the ability of VNOST learners as a material consideration and basic knowledge to develop further educational products that is charged with graphene technology, knowing scientists' perspectives on graphene, related chemical content and their relationships; knowing about preconceptions of students related to graphene, related school chemistry content and their relationship; kit and worksheet construction for isolation graphene experiment based on guided inquiry learning. The research method refers to development research design model of educational reconstruction (MER) in order to. Consisting of stages of concept structure analysis, pre-conception investigation of learners as well as construction of kits and practical procedures. VNOST questionnaire, graphene context analysis format, and pre-conception interview guidelines is used to achieve the purpose of this study. The findings from this study that the graphene technology as a currently research trend can be used as an attractive, potential, applicative learning context and in accordance with the revised 2013 curriculum based on the results of a study of literature and scientists' perspectives. Then the results of VNOST perspective showed from 79 students at level XI that the majority of students have inadequate VNOST perspective, especially in the aspects of science and technology characteristics, where students have an understanding science as a product, this findings are in line with the background and and they have an inadequete perspective that only studying science, technology can be mastered. The findings is constructed into kits and worksheets appropriate with student's ability, integrated with VNOST, and in accordance with the development of contemporary science and technology.
