Abstract
Ryan Taufika (1707532) “Implementasi Kebijakan Pendidikan tentang Full Day School dalam Menumbuhkan Karakter Siswa di SDIT Bunayya Medan” (Studi Deskriptif pada Pelaksanaan Full Day School). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan Implementasi Kebijakan Pendidikan tentang Full Day School dalam Menumbuhkan Karakter Siswa di SDIT Bunayya Medan. Pemerintah dalam hal penyelenggaraan negara mengeluarkan sejumlah kebijakan untuk menjawab tantangan pendidikan dalam hal pengembangan karakter. Sistem full day school merupakan model pendidikan yang sangat mendukung untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan menggembangkan nilai-nilai karakter siswa. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode studi deskriptif. Pengumpulan data melalui teknik wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan/program full day school sudah terencana dengan baik dan sesuai Permendikbud No.23 Tahun 2017, perencanaan meliputi: kebijakan pemerintah, visi misi, tujuan sekolah full day school, strategi, pendekatan dengan stakeholders, program kegiatan, pembiayaan dan kesediaan SDM. (2) Proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran sistem full day school di SDIT Bunayya Medan meliputi 3 tahapan yaitu kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti dan kegiatan penutup yang dilakukan didalam pembelajaran, sedangkan di luar pembelajaran siswa mengikuti kunjungan belajar, dan sejumlah program pengembangan diri di bidang keahlian dan kerajinan yang diselenggrakan dalam ekstrakurikuler (3) Keberhasilan pembelajaran sistem full day school dalam pengembangan karakter siswa di SDIT Bunayya Medan ditandai dengan perkembangan karakter religius, kedisiplinan, kerja keras, mandiri, dan karakter semangat kebangsaan yang terprogram didalam intrakurikuler, kokurikuler, maupun ekstrakurikuler (4) Faktor pendukung maupun penghambat proses implementasi kebijakan full day school di SDIT Bunayya Medan ada di infrastruktur dan SDM, dan sekolah berusaha memperbaikinya. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem full day school dapat menumbuhkan karakter peserta didik dengan terbentuknya karakter karakter religius, kedisiplinan, kerja keras, mandiri, dan karakter semangat kebangsaan bagi peserta didik, serta dapat membentuk akhlakul karimah siswa SDIT Bunayya Medan. Kata Kunci: Kebijakan Pendidikan, Penerapan Sistem Full Day School, Pembentukan Karakter Ryan Taufika (1707532) "Implementation of Education Policy on Full Day School in Growing Student Character at SDIT Bunayya Medan" (Descriptive Study on the Implementation of Full Day School). This study aims to find out and describe the Implementation of Educational Policies on Full Day School in Growing Student Character at SDIT Bunayya Medan. The government in terms of state administration issued a number of policies to answer the challenges of education in terms of character development. The full day school system is an educational model that is very supportive for improving the quality of education and developing student character values. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach using descriptive study methods. Data collection through interview, observation, and documentation study techniques. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing / verification. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Planning / full day school program has been well planned and in accordance with Minister of Education and Culture No.23 2017, planning includes: government policy, vision and mission, goals of full day school, strategy, approach with stakeholders, program activities, financing and willingness of HR. (2) The process of implementing full day school system learning at SDIT Bunayya Medan includes 3 stages: preliminary activities, core activities and closing activities carried out in learning, while outside of learning students attend study visits, and a number of self-development programs in the field of expertise and crafts implemented in extracurricular activities. (3) The success of full day school learning in developing student character in SDIT Bunayya Medan is marked by the development of religious character, discipline, hard work, independence, and character of nationalism programmed in intracurricular, co-curricular and extracurricular (4) The supporting and inhibiting factors in the process of implementing the full day school policy at SDIT Bunayya Medan are in infrastructure and human resources, and the school is trying to improve it. Then it can be concluded that the full day school system can foster students' character with the formation of the character of religious character, discipline, hard work, independence, and character of the national spirit for students, and can form the basic moral character of SDIT Bunayya Medan students.
