Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) mengenai penerapan model pembelajaran SAVI (Somatik, Auditori, Visual, Intelektual) untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas V SD. Latar belakang penelitian ini yaitu masih rendahnya aktivitas belajar siswa dalam belajar dimana siswa dengan aktivitas belajar yang tinggi yaitu 34%, sedangkan siswa yang aktivitas belajarnya rendah yaitu 66%. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di salah satu SD Kota Bandung dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa sebanyak 23 siswa, yang terdiri dari 9 siswa laki-laki dan 14 siswa perempuan. PTK ini dilakukan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran SAVI yang terdiri dari 4 tahapan, yaitu : (1) tahap persiapan, (2) tahap penyampaian, (3) tahap pelatihan, (4) tahap penyampaian hasil. Indikator aktivitas belajar yang diukur dalam penelitian ini, yaitu: (1) Siswa belajar dalam bentuk kelompok untuk memecah masalah. (2) Setiap siswa berpartisipasi dalam melaksanakan tugas belajarnya melalui berbagai cara. (3) Siswa berani mengajukan pendapat. (4) Siswa melakukan aktivitas belajar analisis, sintesis, penilaian dan kesimpulan. (5) Setiap siswa berkesempatan menggunakan berbagai sumber belajar yang tersedia. (6) Ada upaya dari siswa untuk bertanya kepada guru dan meminta pendapat guru dalam upaya kegiatan belajarnya. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan aktivitas belajar dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran SAVI, serta menunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa dari siklus I sebesar 72% menjadi 88% pada siklus II. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran SAVI (Somatik, Auditori, Visual, Intelektual) dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas V SD.;--This study is a classroom action research about the implementation of SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) learning model to improve learning activities in fifth grade student of Elementary School. The low number that indicating the student's learning activity becomes the background of this research, which the percentage of student's learning activity is 34% for the high learning activity and 66% for the low learning activity. This research was conducted in one of elementary schools in Bandung with the subject of the study were students as many as 23 students, consisting of 9 male students and 14 female students. This classroom action research is done by applying SAVI learning model consisting 4 stages, those are: (1) preparation stage, (2) delivery stage, (3) training stage, (4) result delivery stage. Indicators of learning activities that is measured in this study are: (1) Students learn in the form of groups to solve the problem. (2) Every student participates in carrying out their learning tasks in various of ways. (3) Students dare to submit their own opinion. (4) Students undertake learning activities of analysis, synthesis, assessment and conclusions. (5) Each student has the opportunity to use various learning resources. (6) There is an effort from the students to ask the teacher and ask the teacher's opinion about their learning activity. The results of this study found that there is an improvement in learning activities by applying SAVI learning model, and showed an improvement in student learning activities from cycle I is about 72% to 88% in cycle II. This research shows that by applying SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) learning model can improve the learning activities in fifth grade of elementary school students.
