Abstract
Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya motivasi guru di SMK Aqua Vitae Bandung dan SMK Bandung Selatan 2. Hal tersebut ditandai dengan kinerja guru yang dinilai belum maksimal. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu iklim organisasi sekolah (X) sebagai variabel bebas (independent) dan motivasi guru (Y) sebagai variabel terikat (dependent). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran tingkat kondusifan iklim organisasi sekolah dan memperoleh gambaran mengenai tingkat motivasi guru, juga untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh iklim organisasi sekolah terhadap motivasi guru. Metode yang digunakan dalm penelitian ini adalah metode survey. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara penyebaran angket model skala 5 likert. Yang dimodifikasi data menggunakan regresi sederhana. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah guru di SMK Aqua Vitae Bandung dan SMK Bandung Selatan 2 sebanyak 70 orang. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa iklim organisasi sekolah berada pada kategori sangat kondusif dan motivasi guru berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Dari hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh bahwa iklim organisasi seklah berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi guru di SMK Aqua Vitae Bandung dan SMK Bandung Selatan 2. Secara parsial tidak ada perbedaan pengaruh iklim organisasi sekolah terhadap motivasi guru antara dua sekolah tersebut. ;---The background of this research is the teachers in SMK Aqua Vitae Bandung and SMK Bandung Selatan 2. It could be seen from teachers’ perfomence which hada not been maximum this research had two variables, those were the school’s organization climate (X) as the independent variables and the the teachers’ motivation (Y) as the dependent variable. The purposes of this research were to obtain the conducive view of the school’s organization climate level, the view of the teachers’ motivation level, as well as to find out whether there is an influence of the school’s organization climate to the teachers’ motivation. The method used in this research was survey method. The questionnaires likert scale five model which modified by using simple regression method. Seventy teacher in SMK Aqua Vitae Bandung and SMK Bandung Selatan 2 were the respondents of this research. The data analyzed results showed that the school’s organization climate was in a nearly conducive category and the teachers’ motivation was in the very high category. From the hhypothesis test obtained that the school’s organization climate had a positive influence to the teachers’ teaching motivation in SMK Aqua Vitae Bandung and SMK Bandung Selatan 2. Partially there is no difference in the influence of school organizational climate on teachers’ motivation between the two schools.
