Abstract

Telah dibuat prototipe sistem monitor lendutan jembatan sebagai pengembangan aplikasi sensor Giant Magnetoresistace (GMR) dalam mendeteksi pergeseran posisi. Konsep yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah nilai respon sensor berupa tegangan keluaran yang terjadi akibat perubahan resistansi pada sensor GMR yang disebabkan oleh adanya perubahan medan magnet luar. Perubahan medan magnet disebabkan oleh adanya pergeseran objek terhadap titik acuannya, yaitu sensor. Pengembangan aplikasinya dalam sistem monitor lendutan jembatan dilakukan menggunakan pemberian variasi beban 0,0098 N, 2,8910 N dan 9,800 N serta peletakkan variasi posisi sensor sejauh 8 cm, 18 cm (titik tengah jembatan) dan 28 cm dari titik tumpu tempat beban mulai bergerak. Hasil pengujian deteksi pergeseran posisi diperoleh bahwa sensitivitas sensor GMR dapat merespon pergeseran sebesar 0,013 V⁄mm. Sedangkan hasil uji prototipe lendutan jembatan diperoleh bahwa letak posisi sensor 18 cm memiliki kemampuan respon jangkauan deteksi sensor paling luas akibat posisi beban paling ringan yaitu 0,0098 N ketika posisi beban di 2 cm sampai 31 cm dari titik tumpu A (keseluruhan posisi beban adalah 36 cm). Hal tersebut diperkuat dengan nilai korelasi antara variabel respon sensor yang dipengaruhi oleh posisi beban pada letak sensor di 18 cm menunjukkan akurasi hubungan sebesar 91,5%. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat dikembangkan untuk sistem monitoring lendutan jembatan akibat adanya beban berjalan.;---Has been made a prototype system of bridge deflection monitoring as application development of Giant Magnetoresistance (GMR) in detecting position displacement. The concept used in the research is the sensor response value of the resulting output voltage occurs due to changes in resistance to the GMR sensor caused by the magnetic field change. The magnetic field change is caused by the displacement of the object to its reference point, the sensor. The application development in the bridge deflection monitoring system is carried out using the load variation of 0,0098 N, 2,8910 N and 9,800 N then placing the variation of sensor position at 8 cm, 18 cm (the middle point of the bridge), and 28 cm from the pivot where the load starts moving. The result of position displacement testing obtained that sensitivity of GMR sensor can respond to displacement 0,013 V⁄mm. While the prototype bridge deflection test result obtained that the position of the sensor position at 18 cm from the fulcrum A has the ability to response the sensor detection range most widely due to the lightest load position of 0,0098 N from the load position at 2 cm – 31 cm from the fulcrum A (the overall load position is 36 cm). This is reinforced by the correlation value between the sensor response variables that are affected by the load position on the sensor location at 18 cm shows the accuracy of the relationship of 91,5%. The result of research can be developed for bridge deflection monitoring system due to the running load.
