Abstract

Kemampuan membuat soal dengan paper and pencil test jenis multiple CHOICE merupakan bagian penting yang tidak terpisahkan dari kompetensi pedagogik seorang guru. Instrument pengukuran hasil belajar harus didesain kearah higher order thingking, agar peserta didik terlatih pada pemikiran level tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengukur kemampuan dan mendapatkan data aktual tentang kemampuan guru geografi dalam memahami dan mengembangkan paper and pencil test jenis multiple CHOICE pada level HOTS, baik sebelum dan sesudah dilaksanakan workshop. Alasan dilaksanakannya penelitiaan ini adalah pentingnya kegiatan evaluasi yang baik dan benar dalam sebuah kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan guru geografi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest posttest desaign. Populasi dan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru geografi SMA yang tergabung didalam MGMP Geografi Kabupaten Bekasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statististik dengan software SPSS versi 23 . Hasil penelitian menunjukan terjadinya peningkatan pemahaman guru geografi dalam memahami alat ukur pada level HOTS setelah dilaksanaknya workshop yaitu sebesar 0,981 katagori tinggi (N-Gain). Peningkatan pemahaman guru geografi memberikan kontribusi yang besar terhadap kualitas soal yang dibuat guru. Kata Kunci : pemahaman, paper and pencil test, dan HOTS The ability to make questions with paper and pencil tests of the type of multiple CHOICE is an important part that is inseparable from the pedagogic competence of a teacher. Instrument measurement of learning outcomes must be designed towards highd develop paper and pencil tests for the type of multiple CHOICE at HOTS level, both before and after the workshop. The reason for this research is the importance of good and correct evaluation activities in a learning activity carried out by geography teachers. The research method used was an experimental method with the design of one group pretest posttest desaign. The population and sample in this study are all high school geography teachers who are members of the Geography MGMP of Bekasi Regency. The data obtained were then analyzed using statistics with software SPSS version 23. The results of the study showed an increase in the understanding of geography teachers in understanding the measuring instruments at the HOTS level after the implementation of the workshop was equal to 0.981 high categories (N-Gain). Increasing the understanding of geography teachers contributes greatly to the quality of the questions made by the teacher. Keywords: paper and pencil test, multiple CHOICE and HOTS
