Abstract

Hasil belajar siswa merupakan faktor dalam mengukur tingkat keberhasilan dalam suatu proses pembelajaran dalam aspek kognitif, aspek apektif, serta aspek psikomotorik. Pencapaian hasil belajar yang baik dapat ditempuh melalui proses pembelajaran yang efektif. Kurangnya antusiasme dan rasa jenuh yang seringkali dirasakan siswa terutama dalam pembelajaran PPKn, maka dalam hal ini perlu adanya inovasi guru dalam memberikan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan pada siswa salah satunya melalui penerapan model pembelajaran. Model Group to Group Exchange merupakan tipe pembelajaran kooperatif aktif yang digunakan sebagai bentuk perlakuan (treathment) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran PPKn. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen meliputi dua sampel penelitian yang diberikan perlakuan yang berbeda. Kelas eksperimen menerapkan model Group to Group Exchange sedangkan kelas kontrol menerapkan metode konvensional. Siswa kelas eksperimen memiliki tanggapan yang positif dalam penerapan model Group to Group Exchange. Hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkan model Group to Group Exchange terdapat pada kategori baik dalam semua aspek. Hasil pretes kemampuan koginitif dan afektif kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan, sedangkan hasil posttest menunjukan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam aspek kognitif dan dalam aspek apektif tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Model Group to Group Exchange lebih berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dibandingkan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Kata Kunci: Group to Group Exchange, Hasil Belajar Student learning outcomes are a factor in measuring the level of success in a learning process in cognitive aspects, affective aspects, and psychomotor aspects. Achievement of good learning outcomes can be achieved through an effective learning process. The lack of enthusiasm and boredom that is often felt by students, especially in Civic Education learning, so in this case the need for teacher innovation in providing a pleasant learning experience to students, one of them through the application of learning models. The Group to Group Exchange model is an active type of cooperative learning that is used as a form of treatment to improve student learning outcomes in Civic Education learning. This study uses a quantitative approach with quasi-experimental methods including two research samples that were given different treatments. The experimental class applies the Group to Group Exchange model while the control class applies the conventional method. Experimental class students have a positive response in the application of the Group to Group Exchange model. Student learning outcomes after being applied to the Group to Group Exchange model are in the good category in all aspects. The results of the pretest of cognitive abilities and the experimental class and control class affective were not significantly different, while the posttest results showed that there were significant differences in the cognitive aspects and that there were no significant differences in the aspects of the experiment and the control class. The Group to Group Exchange model is more influential in improving the learning outcomes of experimental class students than the control class using conventional methods.
