Abstract

Kompetensi guru sebagai pendidik selalu menjadi perhatian pemerintah untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di Indonesia. Sehingga pemerintah terus berupaya dengan mencanangkan berbagai program peningkatan kompetensi guru. Selain guru di sekolah, ada aktor pendidik yang lain yang sangat berperan penting di daerah pedesaan, yakni guru ngaji. Jika di satu sisi pemerintah terus memperhatikan bagaimana kompetensi guru zaman sekarang, maka bagaimana dengan guru ngaji yang menurut beberapa pendapat berperan penting dalam peletak dasar akhlak anak didik. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh deskripsi bagaimana pemahaman guru ngaji terhadap prinsip-prinsip pedagogis dalam pembelajaran. Hal ini sangat penting untuk diteliti karena mengingat tuntutan zaman sekarang tentang keahlian guru ngaji sebagai pendidik harus bisa mengimbangi kemampuan guru di lembaga formal. Karena jika tidak, tantangan dan hambatan keberhasilan proses pendidikan di mesjid akan semakin besar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman guru ngaji terhadap prinsip-prinsip pedagogis dalam pembelajaran masih kurang khusus guru ngaji yang berpendidikan rendah. Dan ternyata tingkat pendidikan berperan penting terhadap peningkatan pemahaman guru ngaji terhadap prinsip-prinsip pedagogis. Guru ngaji yang sudah berpendidikan tinggi sudah mampu menjelaskan dan memberi contoh prinsip-prinsip pedagogis minimal separuhnya dari keseluruhan prinsip-prinsip yang ada menurut para ahli.---- Competence of teachers as educator always be attention the government to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. So taht the government continuously try to with introduced various programs to increase competence of teachers. Besides teachers at schools, is actor educator who other which play a large role important in rural areas, namely guru ngaji. If on one side the government continues to see how competence of teachers today, so how are guru ngaji (Al-Quran Reading teachers) who according to several opinions play an important role important in infuse basic attitude student. This research is conducted to gather description what is the understanding teachers to the principles of pedagogis in learning. This is very important to be researched because demands of today about expertise guru ngaji as educator should be able to counterbalance teachers in formal institutions. Because if they do not, the challenges and barrier the process of education in a mosque will the bigger. This research used qualitative approach with the methods case study. The result of the study showed that undersanding guru ngaji to the principles of pedagogic in learning is weak special guru ngaji who low educted. And the level of education can increase understanding guru ngaji to the principles of pedagogis in learning. They are able to explained and set an example the principles of pedagogic at least some of all the principles according to the experts.
