    Abstract

    Permasalahan yang penulis ajukan pada penelitian ini mengenai profil kondisi fisik dan psikologis atlet karate putra Jawa Barat. Penulis ingin mengetahui bagaimana kondisi fisik yang dimiliki oleh setiap atlet dalam menghadapi PON XIX di Jawa Barat serta ingin mengetahui bagaimana psikologis yang ditimbulkan oleh setiap atlet. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 11 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah parameter tes kondisi fisik dan tes angket motivasi untuk mengetahui perkembangan secara psikologis. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan dan analisis data bahwa, profil kondisi fisik setiap atlet karate putra Jawa Barat memiliki kondisi fisik yang baik dan memiliki motivasi yang baik dalam menghadapi event terbesar setiap 4 tahun sekali tebukti tim karate putra Jawa Barat memberikan hasil yang baik denga perolehan 3 medali emas dan 1 medali perunggu untuk Jawa Barat sehingga menjadikan juara umum pada cabang olahraga karate pada PON XIX di Jawa Barat.-----The problems that the authors propose in this study on the profile of physical and psychological conditions karate athlete son team of West Java. The writer wanted to know the extent of the physical condition of every athlete in the face of national sports week 19 in West Java and the development of psychologically induced by each athlete. The method used is descriptive method with a sample size of 11 people. The research instrument used is the physical condition of test parameters and test motivation questionnaire to determine psychological development. Based on the results of processing and analysis of data that profiles the physical condition of each athlete karate son of West Java has a good physical condition and have a good motivation in the face of the biggest event every four years TEBUKTI karate team men's West Java gives good results premises acquisition of three gold medals and 1 bronze medals for West Java, making the overall champion in the sport of karate in PON XIX in West Java.
