    Abstract

    Penelitian ini berisi tentang faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa jurusan Teknik Perbaikan Bodi Otomotif (TPBO) SMKN 8 Bandung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi kesiapan kerja siswa kelas TPBO SMKN 8 Bandung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII TPBO SMKN 8 Bandung. Sampel diambil dengan teknik quota sampling dengan jumlah sampel 60 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian melalui analisis faktor bahwa ada 2 faktor yang memengaruhi kesiapan kerja siswa. Kedua faktor tersebut adalah (1) faktor satu terdiri dari variabel: motivasi belajar, pengalaman praktik luar, bimbingan vokasional, dan ekspektasi masuk dunia kerja, (2) faktor dua terdiri dari variabel: Informasi pekerjaan, teman sebaya, dan kesempatan mendapatkan kemajuan. Faktor yang paling dominan memengaruhi kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII TPBO SMKN 8 Bandung adalah faktor satu.-------- This study contains about the factors that affect the readiness of students working Department of Automotive Body Repair (TPBO) SMKN 8 Bandung. The purpose of this study to determine the dominant factors that affect the readiness of students working class TPBO SMKN 8 Bandung. This research is a descriptive research with quantitative approach. Population in this research is student of class XII TPBO SMKN 8 Bandung. Samples were taken with quota sampling technique with sample number of 60 students. Based on the results of research through the analysis of factors that there are 2 factors that affect the readiness of student work. The two factors are: (1) one factor consists of variables: learning motivation, outside practice experience, vocational guidance, and workplace expectations, (2) factor two consists of variables: employment information, peers, and opportunities for progress. The most dominant factor influencing the readiness of students of class XII TPBO SMKN 8 Bandung is one.
