Abstract

Teks sawer adalah salah satu pokok bahasan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Sunda di sekolah. Namun, teks sawer belum bisa diajarkan secara maksimal sebab siswa lebih condong diajak pada pengajaran yang sifatnya teoretis. Selain itu, guru mengalami kesulitan dalam menemukan bahan ajar yang tepat untuk mengajarkan teks sawer. Permasalahan tersebut harus segera diatasi. Oleh sebab itu, peneliti menganalisis unsur semiotik dan nilai etnopedagogik dalam teks sawer pangantenan Desa Manonjaya Kecamatan Manonjaya Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Metode yang peneliti gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analisis yang berusaha mendeskripsikan unsur semiotik dan nilai etnopedagogik dalam teks sawer pangantenan yang terdiri dari 100 bait, setiap bait terdiri dari empat larik. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam teks sawer pangantenan ditemukan banyak unsur semiotik dan nilai etnopedagogik.. Oleh karena itu, teks sawer pangantenan ini perlu dipelihara dan sangat cocok untuk dijadikan bahan ajar Apresiasi Sastra di SMP Kelas VIII. Hal tersebut didasari segi bahasa, aspek psikologi, dan latar belakang budaya siswa kelas VIII.-----The text of sawer is one of the subjects in learning Sundanese language in school. However, the text of kawih sawer can not be taught maximally because the students are more inclined to be invited to teaching that is theoretical. In addition, teachers have difficulty in finding the right materials to teach the text sawer. The problem must be addressed immediately. Therefore, researchers analyze the element of semiotics and ethnopedagogic values in text sawer pangantenan Manonjaya Village Manonjaya District Tasikmalaya Regency. The method that researchers use in this research is descriptive method of analysis trying to describe the element of semiotik and ethnopedagogic value in text sawer pangantenan consisting of 100 bait, each stanza consists of four lines. The results of data analysis showed that in the text sawer pangantenan found many elements of semiotik and ethnopedagogik value.. Therefore, the text sawer pangantenan needs to be maintained and is suitable to be used as teaching materials Appreciation of Literature in SMP Class VIII. It is based on language aspect, psychology aspect, and cultural background of class VIII students
