Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tiga tujuan, yaitu mengetahui sosialisasi dan internalisasi keempat komponen Adiwiyata oleh sekolah pembina terhadap sekolah binaan, menjelaskan kebijakan yang diimplementasikan di sekolah binaan dalam menuju sekolah Adiwiyata, dan mendeskripsikan green behavior guru dan siswa di sekolah binaan. Metode studi kasus digunakan dengan subjek penelitian kepala sekolah atau yang mewakilinya, tim Adiwiyata sekolah serta guru dan siswa sekolah binaan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Teknik analisis data Miles & Huberman digunakan untuk tahapan analisis data, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pada bagian validitas data, peneliti menggunakan triangulasi data untuk meminimalisir kesalahan dalam menginterpretasi data. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa miskomunikasi yang terjadi menjadi faktor penghambat utama dalam melaksanakan kegiatan sosialisasi dan internalisasi keempat faktor Adiwiyata. Selain itu, kebijakan yang diimplementasikan oleh kepala sekolah terdahulu di sekolah binaan lebih menekankan kepada aspek sarana dan prasarana. Meskipun demikian, green behavior guru dan siswa sekolah binaan terbantu oleh kegiatan rutin yang berbasis lingkungan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, kesimpulannya adalah sosialisasi dan internalisasi yang dilakukan tidak berjalan dengan baik, kebijakan sekolah yang diimplementasikan di sekolah binaan lebih menekankan kepada aspek sarana dan prasarana, dan terdapat dampak nyata dari adanya gerakan pungut sampah terhadap green behavior guru dan siswa.;---The research was purposed to find out the socialization and the internalization of four Adiwiyata components, explain policies which are implemented at targeted school, and describe about teachers’ and students’ green behavior at targeted school. The method has qualitative with data from the headmaster or the representative, Adiwiyata team, also teachers with students of targeted school. Interview, observation, and document analysis were used in this research. Miles and Huberman’s data analysis technique was used for data analysis (data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion). For data validity, the researcher used data triangulation for minimize error in data interpretation. The finding of the research shows that the main obstacle in carrying out the socialization and internalization of four Adiwiyata components is miscommunication. In other hand, the policies implemented by school principal in the targeted school emphasized more on the aspects of facilities and infrastructures. However, teachers’ and students’ green behavior at targeted school is supported by environmental based repetitive activities. Based on the results of this research, the conclusions are that socialization and internalization are not going well, the school policies implemented by principal at targeted school give more emphasis on school facilities and infrastructures, and there is a real impact of the garbage collection movement on teachers’ and students’ green behavior.
