Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kesulitan pembelajar menampilkan ekuivalensi makna terjemahan Arab-Indonesia. Pencapaian penlitian menemukan kesulitan mahasiwa menampilkan ekuivalensi makna, proses memilih padanan, dan perbandingan ekuivalensi makna menggunakan kamus konvensional dan elektronik. Pendekatan penelitian studi deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi. Data penelitian dari hasil terjemahan mahasiswa berkompetensi baik, sedang, dan cukup dengan parameter keakuratan, keberterimaan, dan keterbacaan. Temuan 1) kesulitan menampilkan ekuivalensi makna ada pada 4 aspek, 2) proses pencarian padanan terdiri dari 6 tahapan, 3) perbandingan kesalahan pada aspek semantik dengan nilai rata-rata 5,51 (kamus konvensional) dan 6,00 (kamus elektronik).-----This research is based on the difficulties of learner view equivalence meaning of Arabic-Indonesian translation. The achievement of the study finds students' difficulties displaying the equivalence meaning, the process of selecting the equivalent, and the comparison of meaning equivalences using conventional and electronic dictionaries. Qualitative descriptive research approach with content analysis method. The result data from the result of the translation of the students competence is good, medium, and enough with parameter of accuracy, acceptance, and readability. Findings 1) the difficulty of displaying equivalence of meaning is in 4 aspects, 2) matching search process consists of 6 stages, 3) error comparison with average value 5.51 (conventional dictionary) and 6.00 (electronic dictionary)
