Abstract
-----This research is an attempt to solve the problem of low fundamental skills in children aged 7-9 years using The-Low Organized Games Based Program (LOGP). The purpose of this study is to obtain conclusions about the use of LOGP for the development of Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS) at elementary school students in grade 7-9 years old. The research method used qualitative approach through action research method with school-wide research type with 2 (two) cycles procedure. The study was conducted using stages, including (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. Participants consisted of 30 students aged 7-9 in SDN 1 Paniis, District Pasawahan, Kuningan District, 2 teachers physical education and 1 person administrator. Data collection using technique (1) performance test, (2) oral test, and (3) observation. Instrument used is Test of Gross Motor Development-Second Edition (TGMD-2) to measure FMS performance consisting of locomotor subtest and object control subtest. Validation of research data by (1) deepening observation, (2) triangulation, and (3) member check. The results of this study indicate that after 12 meetings in 2 cycles using LOGP provide a positive development for FMS learners. The development of learners' performance for locomotor sub test reached 60% in cycle I and again increased in cycle II to 72% compared to preassessment result, that is 41%. For sub object control tests, the students' performance increased to 55% compared to preassessment of 32% and again increased in cycle II to 71%. Overall, FMS performance level increased in cycle I to 58% and cycle II to 71% compared to 37% preassessment result. Percentage mastery learning in cycle I is 7% and increase in cycle II to 56%.
